Best move for her at the time. When you know the story it isn't so wild. Didn’t she tear her ACL? Anything more than that? Well the reference was to what a shocking move it was for her to go to CofC. And no...no more than that. It was just a pragmatic move which turned out great for her in the end.

So that’s the whole story you were ominously referring to? Or is there more? I, in fact, if you re-read my post, did quite the opposite of making an ominous reference. I downplayed it as no biggie. The prior post had mentioned the shocking move. I said it's really not shocking at all. It was a pretty flatline series of events, other than the injury which was a catalyst.

OPP Miranda Weber no longer on the American University roster. Shame. I wonder if she's going home to Canada after deciding D1 volleyball isn't for her. Or worse, if she ended up having to medically retire - being that tall and having knock knees isn't a great sign of future knee health.

MB Allie Moger is no longer on the Colorado roster. Went back home before the Spring semester. No longer playing college sports.

I was surprised to see that Handy had left UOfAZ for Fresno State - especially so late in the year.

I was surprised to see that Handy had left UOfAZ for Fresno State - especially so late in the year. That's very interesting. Press release was the week that double days started. It must be crazy for athletes who are changing schools at the very last minute. She redshirted her freshman year at AZ, so still has 4 years eligibility at Fresno State, and apparently the opportunity to play.

Since I am re-watching last year's Civil War matches, I noticed that Allison Hughes (Setter) is no longer on the Oregon State roster.

Standard operations for U of A Little’s. They have a bunch of them come and go each year it seems That's very interesting.  Press release was the week that double days started.  It must be crazy for athletes who are changing schools at the very last minute.  She redshirted her freshman year at AZ, so still has 4 years eligibility at Fresno State, and apparently the opportunity to play. I believe Handy was a pretty highly recruited setter.

Am I reading the first post (the post the OP updates) correctly? 148 D1s transferred last for this year? So that would be 325 D1 schools X 9 scholarships = 2925 total. 148 / 2925 = 5% So 5% of eligible* D1s choose to transfer? Does that seem high/low. It is only 1/20. I was thinking it is pretty good (ie. low).
* "eligible" = Seniors cannot transfer which is why I assume only 9 scholarships per school since 3 of the athletes on each team could not transfer.

Senior with a year of eligibility left can transfer.
