I know that it is very early, but speculation and news is already being posted in the 2018 thread. Here is the info I have written up on 2019. We can track transfers or any news/updates here as well and edit the potential rosters.
Timeline of UNC:
2014: 29-3 Final record, UNC wins ACC Title, UNC makes the Elite 8 for the first time ever, loses to Texas in 4th Round, 30-28.
2015: 21-10 Final Record, UNC defeated #3 Stanford, scheduled tough, ended tied for second in ACC. Lost in round of 32 To Creighton, Graduated most decorated class to this point in UNC history (Neunfeldt, McPherson, Andrew, Gerhardt, Schnabl)
2016: 29-4 Final Record: UNC defeated WISC, Penn State, and FSU (twice). This with the #3 ranked recruiting class. Won the ACC Title, ACC POY Taylor Leath, ACC FOY Julia Scoles, Lost to UCLA in Sweet 16 in 4th set 28 to 26.
2017: 14-14 Final Record: UNC without Evans and Scoles due to injuries; Borup, Fields, Hough, Hull, Laufenburg, Fradenburg all missed time to due injuries. UNC did not qualify for NCAA and placed 8th in ACC.
2018: 8-19 Final Record: UNC loses Eve Rackham, Gavin Watt, and Tyler Adams to Tenn; Scoles, Borup, Calrton, Fields, Leath all transfer. Start with #8 recruiting class. Lose Harrison (#22 Recruit) to injury. Bring in Atherton, Tontai, and Wine. Susan Clements and Mike Schall replace assistant coaches. NO ACC picks, no NCAA or NIVC qualifications, and finished tied for last in the conference.
2019: Record: TBD
Lose to Graduation: Madison Laufenburg (RS), Casey Jacobs (DS), Kendra Koetter (S)
Lose to Transfer: Ava Bell (Led UNC in hitting percentage during ACC play), ?
