Great news! Between Houghton, Mikkelsen (placed top-four at the state meet in shot put, javelin, and discus -- maybe a little Hentz in her) and McPearson, I think UW will have decent defense on the backrow. ONOSKO and Calle aren't panning out IMO.

In the Russ Rose school of the 5-1, you can't have too many DS's.

Natalie Robinson not on 2019 roster? Why would you think that?

Natalie Robinson not on 2019 roster? Why would you think that? She's not listed on their 2019 roster on their site.

Why would you think that? She's not listed on their 2019 roster on their site. Maybe playing just Sand VB?

Why would you think that? She's not listed on their 2019 roster on their site. I think she has been in the spring practices.

Could she possibly be transferring? She could probably start at a lot of schools. Mikkelsen is coming in.

Watching 3 ex Huskies play in the Women's Open: Liana Sybeldon, Courtney Schwan, Carly Dehoog (Team Academy). Liana still has the mad hops! Currently in set 4. Court 16

General thoughts on Endsley this weekend..... I think her movement is a bit better than last year, still doesn't jump that well, but can generally penetrate the net without too much effort. She isn't given much passing duty (was subbed out in some her backcourt rotations, probably due to liberal substitution rules, and they pinch her a lot in serve receive, which, TBH, was there downfall against TAV....the other passers just aren't good enough to cover all that court....also too many serving errors). She doesn't have the highest contact point among her class (far from it), but she still has the best arm of her class that I've seen and it was apparent even against all those TAV players (Williams- Texas, Ndiaye- Penn State, A. Smith and L. Smith- Stanford).

Bays held up well in serve receive......I didn't see too many extended rallies where she was a notable factor on the final day of play and not too many defensive efforts, but a part of that is that I think the T-Street team is just too good.
