I don't have any complaints with that. I don't either because, it seems, the POY's team usually doesn't win it all

The good thing is that I'm guessing most Minnesota fans there will root for Illinois They should - after they stole Hebert from us. He should get credit for building both programs.

Should be another Final Four with "home court advantage" for Nebraska. You already know the Target Center will be red-heavy based on what the Pav looked like this weekend. I might be making my way up from Dallas.
Foecke and Maloney want another one.
Huskers in 4.

This match will be a war. I give the edge to the Huskers having been in this situation for the returning players who can help the newbies and I also see this having a LOT of red in the stands given the exit of the Gophers.

Minneapolis isn't as easy of a commute as Kansas City, but it might as well be. Nebraska fans will make the trip.
You can make it in 5 hours from Omaha if there aren't weather issues.

I don’t disagree. Maybe Rettke for player of the year. She carries a big load carrying Wisconsin. You know what is coming, allocate more woman power but to no avail. But Nebraska edges Illinois this Thursday and gets the opportunity to beat Stanford on Saturday. IMO

Ha. Been looking at that regularly! I know I'll get one. Just using as many sources as possible.

I think Nebraska definitely has the edge in this one. It’ll take a really good match from Illinois to win. The first time they played Illinois wasn’t ready mentally. Passing and defense was terrible. Illinois beating Nebraska earlier in the season was truly the best match I’ve seen any Illini team play ever. I just don’t think they can do that again. Although I obviously want them to. Nebraska has too many weapons. When the Illini won, it was because Hames was off, so hitters had to keep roll shotting everything. That resulted in career highs in digs for multiple Illini. The difference in this coming match is that Hames is better now, so her hitters will be able to score more efficiently. Nebraska has more hitters that can score, and its defense will makes plays that Illinois’ defense can’t. Let’s all hope Hames has an off night again! But I don’t think it will. Hoping Illinois doesn’t get swept here, although it’s possible.

It'll be a war if Illinois passes well and/or Nebraska's serve is off because Poulter is the one remaining setter that can mitigate Nebraska's defense. She's deceptive and can push tempo with good passing.
