Awwww. Come on UH!!! Why do you have to have the Longhorns practice in "Slummy" Klum Gym? Let them used the newly renovated Gym 2. kind of embarrassing that Texas taking the time to come here and they get to practice in a gym fit for the 1960's.
I think UH should put schools like LBSU or BYU in that ugly ass gym. Those Longhorns never did anything to us to deserve this.:-)

Do we know if the two Spring home matches will be aired on LHN?

Agbaji on the right side is interesting to me, at least from the stat line from the Hawaii match. She had the same number of blocks as Asjia. I think itās assumed her starting over one of the big recruit freshman is a stretch, but itās good see weāve got a solid block substitute on the right side if needed.

Skylar will start over her for sure. Especially with the numbers she put up yesterday

Could be wrong, but also, I donāt disagree with you. I think Skylar will start and Orie will get big block backup duty much like Mirta did.

1. Can someone provide the stat URL for the game? 2. I was surprised mention that Ajia played (looking for the stats first), isn't she still living in a Freshman redshirt year? (the reason I ask this is when Brionne was in her Freshman redshirt year, she wasn't allowed to play spring games in Gregory)

Micaya on the left pin is a given. Most assume Logan will remain on the left side, but some feel she is more natural from the right side. I'm assuming Skylar can play both pin positions, as well. Perhaps it comes down to who is better hitting out of system, although I'm sure there will be other determining factors, as well.
After that, Orie Agbaji is the only other pin we have on the rosters since Katarina Luketic's departure; Molly Phillips can probably fill in there, as well; but, she's also our third middle.

Spring games aren't official contests and therefore playing in them doesn't impact redshirting. Also Brionne played last spring against A&M at Gregory.

Okay thanks. I may have been confused by the past when we had early enrollees who were suited up in the gym in Spring, but couldn't play.
Actually, is that true? If you enroll in January....do you have to be held out in the Spring games because your volleyball season doesn't begin until Fall of that same year?
Hmmm.

Hmmm.
Found a recap of the North Texas spring game in spring 2017 and Butler played in that one also so there is no restriction on early enrollees either. I believe as long as a player is eligible to practice, they are eligible to play in a spring game.

this may have been discussed but it appears tonight's match will not be televised on the LHN
