Did ay2013 ever say where he got the 2020 retirement date? Or did he just make that up? Who?

This team is going to finish higher than the Huskers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finish 1st or 2nd in the B1G next season. And don’t even tell me they’re losing Weiskercher or their OHs.. I think Rose will always find a way. We'll see. I sure hope so. A final four in their home state might keep the Husker fans out! But they have probably purchased half the tickets already.

Vegas Aces Volleyball Club has confirmed that Anjelina Starck, a 6-1 setter/OH from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, has verbally committed to the 2021 class of Penn State University. Welcome Anjelina! (and thanks to a heads-up from a kind VT poster!) For stats from Anjelina’s high school career, courtesy of MaxPreps, as well as the post by Vegas Aces Volleyball Club, Click Here.

So, two setter recruits in the same class? Both can play other positions, so one could switch. Or (cue the "You can't win the NCAA Championship running a 6-2") they could run a 6-2.

A U18 team from the New England region (SMASH VBC, Newton MA) advances out of the first round at the Triple Crown event? How did they do that? To be fair, they did win a USA 17 bid at the Colorado Crossroads last year, but the key piece may have been adding Gabi Bailey at OH1 for this season.

Didn't drop a set with a 2.38 point ratio against what is one of the strongest fields New England has had to offer in a while. Also have MA Gatorade POY and UA First Team All-American Riley James and a 6-2 lefty setter Wang who could be SCARY in a year or two. Bailey is no doubt helping them, she's carrying a large offensive role but her defense looked very strong today. Has been improving every time I have seen her www.smashvolleyball.com/roster/show/4639183?subseason=570751

22 of 24 power pool seeded teams won their challenge match this morning at the Triple crown. SMASH was one of the two teams to pull an upset.

Gabi Bailey's SMASH 18s team won an 18 Open bid at the Colorado Crossroads with a T3 finish. Pretty sure this is the first New England region team to ever win an Open bid.

Has been improving every time I have seen her www.smashvolleyball.com/roster/show/4639183?subseason=570751James is a 2 time State Gatorade POY, maybe even 3 time. Wang could've challenged her for it multiple times. I've seen Wang up close. She's monstrous and is probably one of the best players in NE. With Bailey on this 18s team (she may very well be the first Senior Ace to play for SMASH), I'm willing to bet this is the strongest 18s team to come out of the SMASH pipeline ever. Majority of the girls are going D1, including 2 to the Ivy League. In the past, it's been mostly top tier D3 schools (i.e. Williams). It's an interesting development. I know this isn't too PSU related, but I think Bailey's commitment and Goddard (2018 class) going to Kentucky along with James' UA First Team accolades, NE volleyball may be on the rise. 2019 is a talented year. Hopefully SMASH can find regional competition to keep up the momentum. I am surprised they fared as well a they did at Triple Crown given the insane status of PAC and B1G territory volleyball clubs.
