It seems a bit early to me to start a 2019 thread, but, sadly here it is. The big question mark is how to replace Seliger-Swenson. I think I may be in the minority in my thinking that Nielsen can handle it. The other big question mark is transfers. With so many talented players, someone won't play - so would we see a transfer. If we do, that would make room for a transfer coming in. The third question I have is these two tall middles coming in; I wonder if one of them will move to the outside or if one might redshirt.

Behind Taylor and Regan, I could see Rubright redshirting. Would be nice to have her, Shaffmaster and Landfair all starting their eligibility the same year. |

Way earlier than expected thread. I'm still sad. The weapons all return, it's just a question who loads them. I have zero clue about Nielsen, but she has had SSS to train with for 2 years, so that has to amount to something. I'm going to put my head in the sand/snow and hope no one transfers out.

You may be surprised (and I am - I didn't think that would happen) that I am sad about the end of the season for the Gophers. I really wanted to see Minnesota in Minnesota, facing the Badgers and Minnesota native Sydney Hilley. I would have been realistic about the chances, but it would have been a great story. The end of the Gophers seasons brings back memories of the end of the Badger season in 2016, so I feel like I can relate to the sadness Gopher fans are currently experiencing (and I still have plenty for 2018 too). I look forward to maybe, finally, having a competitive match with Minnesota in 2019 though! |

And until then, she's the first off the bench (Sheehan is close too) for filling in on the outside or even right side if needed. |

I could possibly see Rendahl, Swider, and/or McMenimen transferring also for PT. For Rendahl in particular, I think, it's going to be a big uphill battle for any PT at all.

I think Jaz has a ton of potential tho. Would not blame her one bit for seeking other opportunities. |

Seeing some rumors about UCLA's Kylie Miller (5-11 S, Jr) looking to transfer. She was the #11 recruit in high school and I know nothing about her. Would she be a good grab for the Gophs next year? Finish her career setting one of the top offenses for 2018?

I also believe there is a stud JUCO OH that won the National title that is supposed to be coming your way. I can't remember her name but she is a 6'1 Japanese player.
