This upcoming season offers me so much intrigue for Florida. In the absence of Hall, Hammons took it upon herself to elevate her game she started swinging with authority and power, she was no longer tentative. Now that they are bringing Caesar it creates a real log jam on the pins. I have a hard time seeing Caesar transferring in to ride the pine but where does she go Carlton also showed signs of asserting herself on the right in the tournament. I wonder if Mary keeps the 6-2 just to keep her plethora of hitters happy. You still have Sokolowski and Greer just too many hitters not enough positions and I can't see Hall or Hammons giving up their spot. I think 2019 season the goal for Florida should be one better. Put themselves in the position to get to the elite 8 and possibly play for a Final Four berth. The passing needs to improve and I think they will be challenged in the SEC more with the improvement of Tennessee and Kentucky should be the pre-season favorite should be an exciting season in Gainesville.

eco, I see there were no incoming freshman listed. Is that because you will add them later, or there are no current recruits for 2019?
It will be interesting to see what happens at the setter position. Right now, with the graduation of Allie Monserez, Florida has Marli Monserez, and then Carlton listed as RS/S. If they go with a 5-1, or 5-2 I still think they need a setter as a back up in case of injury.
Florida will be loaded with hitters on the pins for 2019, and 3 OH that are all 6 rotation capable which is a luxury and potentially a curse trying to manage playing time. The MB position should not be a problem with Kramer back and either King or Dooley stepping into Kellum's spot.
If M Monserez can develop further in spring and be ready to take the keys to this Maserati... Florida will jump back to the top of SEC, and top 8 team nationally. If setter position is still a work in progress at start or during 2019 season then could be a similar season to 2018.

We currently have no incoming freshmen for the 2019 class, which is somewhat good because the 2020 class is loaded. I will add more about the team profile, possible lineups and recruiting outlook later tonight. Edit: My apologies. I'll have to do this update tomorrow. A 12 hour shift, followed by the first practice of the season has me getting only 5 hours of sleep tonight.

We currently have no incoming freshmen for the 2019 class is this normal? or just an odd year? 6 freshmen (Warner, Dooley, Fischer, Cerame, Monserez, Hall) plus one transfer (Carlton) came in this year, 2 graduated. It's more just a numbers thing.

It's still not a lock that Caesar plays next year. Would love to be a fly on the wall during their conference call
