Will be interesting to see. Do you think Mary will really bench a Monserez though? I would hope she and the coaching staff would do what is best overall for the team. Marlie has shown good improvement this season, we just need to see a lot more consistency. Maybe she's the answer, maybe Birdie is - time will tell!

Gators Remain Steady in Latest AVCA Poll Florida checks in at No. 13 for second straight week GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida volleyball team remained at No. 13 in the AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll after going 2-0 last week, as announced on Monday. The Gators also jumped six spots in the latest NCAA RPI rankings, moving up to 12th. Florida swept South Carolina on Wednesday night to move to 5-1 in the SEC. Thayer Hall led the way with 11 kills, while Rachael Kramer and Lauren Dooley both added eight kills apiece. UF followed that performance with a road sweep of LSU, where two Gators recorded double-digit kills: Thayer Hall (18), Holly Carlton (12). The Gators return to Exactech Arena on Friday evening when the Crimson Tide come to town. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. on the SEC Network +. Why is that girl pointing?

IMO I still think that Mary needs to let Carlton set more than a few points. How else is she supposed to get a rhythm with the hitters? She’s not the cheerleader Marlie is, but she has much better hands and placement. All is well against the majority of the SEC, but looking back on the BYU match last year and the Stanford match this year, they better get used to a 6-2 now. Also, IMO Kramer does great in most of the SEC but against the top 10 teams she has not....BYU last year and earlier matches this year. That being said; King needs some court time.

We definitely have the weapons for a solid 6-2 next year and the year after. Tooo many weapons, particularly on the pins. Florida has to take advantage of what teams are losing across the country next year and the return of a solid core of offensive and defensive weapons that will be on their 3rd year playing together (Hammons, Hall, Carlton, Warner, Dooley, King, Cerame, Fischer, Monserez).

KING AND DOOLEY OVER KRAMER!!! Thank you!! You checked the stats lately? You should. Kramer might not slam it down like you wish she would, but from that altitude and coming in at that angle, she’s hard to defend. She and Marlie are getting that connection better every match. Dooley has shown she should be on the floor. King is working on that. All in all, nice weapons in the storehouse.
