In terms of Florida, surprisingly we haven't played in Austin since 2015, pre-replay (*side eye*), but the program has always played great there.
If Hall is back, they certainly have a chance against Minnesota and Texas. Although Texas will likely be VERY well rested if UF can get past the Gophers.

Really excited for the remaining SEC teams! It would make my volleyball year for A&M to upset Wisconsin, as unlikely as it may be. Kentucky, with the way they're playing of late, has a real chance to go to the Final Four. Florida looks good too, and Monserez and Kramer are really stepping up. Go SEC!

There went sec. didn’t watch match. Was it as ugly as I’ve heard? Did either team deserve to win that?

It was fun to see former AU Tiger Anna Stevenson show out for Louisville. Such a big leaper with a live arm. Very happy to see the Cards pull that upset in Austin.

The SEC does well to get 3 teams to the Sweet 16, none of them can make it to the Elite Eight. Overall, it was a good season for the upper part of the conference.
The Way Too Early SEC 2020 thread is on the clock. Have already started my write up, and it will be here sometime next week. Perhaps by then we’ll have some news about the Auburn and Ole Miss coaching searches.

Overall a good tournament for the SEC, but I thought UK and UF missed a couple of opportunities to advance further. I was sure UK would beat Washington; however, Washington, much like UGA and A&M, was able to extend rallys against the Cats. I highly doubt UK would have beaten Baylor, but I expected at least a regional final out of that team.
Minnesota is better than Florida this year, nevertheless the Gators were able to take them to the 5th. Win that one and the Gators are probably in the Final Four. Having Ceasar next season will take some of the load of Hall, so she hopefully won't break down at the end of the season.

SEC is a maximum Elite 8/Sweet 16 conference for the most part. Until a team can consistently move into the elite 8 we will struggle when playing the top two conferences top tier and others like Texas BYU etc. I was proud of the way the SEC played this season. I think we have to get the middle bottom to recruit better and play tougher out of conference. Right now only four teams really challenge themselves OOC and they are the top four normally. As for next year I expect a drop off of TAMU minus a OH transfer and Kentucky may have to have bench/ incoming freshman to step up to stay where they are. I expect to see Missouri to be better if they can improve first contact and Florida about the same maybe a slight drop off. How well LSU/SC moves within the SEC will be critical as I want to be 6-7 top heavy teams over the next few years
