You should never use the word "homer" on this board because you are literally the definition of that. I truly hope the Cardinal thrash your team at home circa 2014. I look forward to that as well, maybe you guys could bring your blow dryer and burn Harry Husker up in person .I wonder if your coach can tear himself away from the hair commercial long enough to notice this time. #classycardinal We'll bring the blow dryer as long as you promise not to hit us with your car on the way there!

Watching on TV, I saw McClure over the line at first glance. I'm a huge Stanford fan, but Cook had to challenge that play if what he saw looked anything like what I saw. It's his job to try to win the match, and his view of the play probably wasn't super-clear.
New poll topic -- which competition was fiercer? The Stanford and Nebraska players competing against each other on the court to win the match, or various posters trying to prove that they can be the biggest jerk on this thread? Some competitions are better to lose than to win...

I just realized I'm one of only five posters who picked Stanford in five... so we're the best.

One had to lose but what a ride it was to the finish line. All Championship showdowns should be like that. I have to hand it to Cook. If you would have told me at the beginning of the season that we would be playing in the Natty I would have called you crazy. That is why I am so impressed with Hames. What a tough role to fill.

MY team just defeated YOUR team: nothing "in the dirt" about a team w/ 8 NC titles beating a team with three fewer ('tho their fanatical, hypersensitive fanatics think/ feel that they invented the sport). You Aren't the best VB school: you are THIRD (got 2 more to go to catch up w/the Flying Sanduskys; let alone Tie SU). Btw: you're reported! My bad, I thought you were a Hawaii fan. Of course you reported me, I expect nothing less from the likes of you sweetheart I reside here in Hawaii; I have been a Cardinal WVB fan since 1994. My initial, resuscitating post -- commenting on the R2's gaze at John Cook after the end of said match -- used a term many Hawai'ians utilize: "stink eye". This phrase Doesn't Necessarily Mean "a cold, hard stare". It Can Also mean an askance look of disdain and/or disgust. In this particular instance, it was a case of, 'Good God; happy I don't have to deal with this guy, again, until August at the earliest'. She was Badgered by him and his staff throughout that match. She Was NOT a happy camper about that constant questioning of her calls by them. She's a TOP referee; she stayed professional the whole match!

Yo, Abner: try a mirror dude! How ironic is it that a rabid Stanford fan cannot complete a sentence?

Yo, Abner: try a mirror dude! How ironic is it that a rabid Stanford fan cannot complete a sentence? Complete sentence: Yo = an exclamation; Abner = a name/ directed noun; try = a verb (to try); a = indefinite article; mirror = noun; dude = directed noun
Incomplete sentence: Always = adjective; the = definite article; victim = noun. NO Verb. That is an incomplete sentence, Einstein. As I said; try a mirror!
