Yes we know. Nebraska is overrated. Their setter is garbage. Lexi Sun is trash. Stivrins is overrated. Foecke is good but not as good as Huskers claim. Miller shanks serves. Schwarzenbach ineffective. Sweet is humiliating. Blah blah blah. Fully aware by now. Pure luck to be in the national championship...again. Nebraska is just a joke for a team. I never said any of that. I said Stanford was in a league of their own. That they are on another level from any other team in country. Don’t put words in my mouth. lol k.

I think Stanford comes in as the obvious favorite, but a couple things Nebraska have in its favor are: 1. Championship experience 2. Home Crowd (you can expect half of Lincoln is driving up Saturday morning for this match) 3. Experience in tight games (tonight was exhibit A, they've also played a lot of close games this year and have improved mightily at closing them out) 4. Passing/defense. All of their backrow players have become really strong defenders. Stanford has Hentz and a solid backrow but their floor defense isn't as good overall as Nebraska's IMO. 5. Coaching experience. John Cook has done a stellar job of calling zones for Nebraska the past few matches as well as utilizing his challenges effectively. He also has 4 titles to Hambly's zero. Hambly wins in the looks department though.
My betting money says Stanford because they're better at most positions and have Plummer, but Nebraska has shown unbelievable heart and will have a raucous crowd cheering them on. It's also really hard to bet against Foecke in December, so we'll see what happens. Hoping Nebraska can pull this off because Stanford is going to be untouchable next year.

Also got to say I need to change my routine. Just realized 3 years in a row I was outbto dinner and Nebraska was trailing to Illinois and psu two years in row. Go into movie and Nebraska came back to win all 3. I really have to change that up maybe break cycle.

This will be a no contest Championship Match. Stanford easily in 3 sets. Promise us that if Stanford wins you won't orgasm so hard that it tears spacetime and creates a wormhole. It's volleyball, relax and contain that Hadron Collider nut you've built up.

Nebraska May have a good defense but there is not a Libero in country that can stop Plummer when she’s going and if there was it prob be her teammate. Less forget Stanford has the best libero in country probably. There is not a defense in the country that can stop Plummer when she is full tilt and that is why nobody is gonna beat Stanford. Oh btw the have some pretty good other player also lol. But Plummer is the insurance policy. Best u can buy.

To say Nebraska was garbage would be saying every team in country besides Stanford was garbage and I never said that. I said Stanford was just on a higher level then everyone. I will say however hambley as coach is only thing that scares me. I would go even one further. If BYU was healthy, Stanford and BYU would have been by far the two best teams in the country. If any team got lucky, in this NCAA Tournament, it was Nebraska. Cause they did not have to meet Minnesota.

I feel I can make statement like this cause I always hear people say through psu runs well they were lucky cause this team got knocked out. Just returning favor. Think most believe Nebraska got very lucky minny was knocked out. Minny had their number this year.

Interesting assessment of what you think about the Stanford defense. They are equal to Nebraska in the backrow. You think it’s only Hentz hat plays defense for Stanford ? I guess you forgot about McClure and Formico. I guess you also didn’t consider that Nebraska has not faced a block as big as Stanford. Did you see what happened to BYU and Penn State ? In order for Nebraska to compete there block has to show up. 3 blocks against a one woman wrecking crew (Quade) in a 5 game match is pathetic.

Couple of things, Stanford players also have Championship experience. Also, the Arena is all sold out, so if fans are now driving up to Minneapolis, they will be standing in cold outside of the arena. Nebraska does not have the blocking ability that Stanford has, not even close. Nebraska has not gone up against an offensive team as Stanford, so we will see just how really good the Nebraska defense is.

Stanford has more weapons then Illinois a way bigger block, one of the best if not best libero in game and oh yeah btw they have that girl named Plummer. There isn’t enough magic in the world to get Nebraska over that in my opinion but I will say if by the slimmest of slim margins they figured out a way I’m already gonna go ahead and blame hambley. Lol

BYU's Libero is better than Nebraska's, and she could not stop Plummer. Also, BYU's block is much better than Nebraska's. We all witnessed what Plummer and Stanford, did to BYU. Also, need to take into account, Stanford is NOT one dimensional like Illinois proved to be.

"Stanford's going to be untouchable next year." ... Blah, blah, blah... Everyone who's supposed to be an "expert" has been saying that same thing every year since the class of Plummer/Fitmorris/Grey/Hentz class arrived ... Gee... How's that worked out for ya? How many NCs has that class won? How many has Nebraska won in that timespan?
GBR!
