Of the three DS/L that played I would rate it Miller, Knuckles, and then Densberger. I still think Knuckles at Libero and Miller at DS. Miller was DS for Sweet in Sets 1 and 2, and for Zuhn when she switched to OH in set 3.

Edit: Or did you mean that you think Cook will put Knuckles in at Libero.

I think Knuckles has more upside than Miller once she gets some match time under her belt. Densberger's passing was at times rough. Drewnick had her running shoes on Saturday.

Miller is probably the 2nd option, but Saturday night she filled the role she will likely have at the start of the season - DS for whichever pin hitter isn't playing six rotations. I thought Densberger's defense looked improved from where she was last season, but I don't really see her challenging Knuckles or Miller for serious playing time. One thing that surprised me Saturday night was the play of Szabo in the back row. She was playing six rotations and her passing and defense were better than I would have expected. The Red team didn't try to break her down in serve receive like an actual opponent probably would, but I still came away surprised and somewhat impressed.

On the media interview with after the match Cook mentioned the two best passers so far at practice has been Kenzie & Madi. Cook also mentioned that the six best server will play.

How is Capri as "primary passer"? I apologize if this as been discussed before.

How is Capri as "primary passer"? I apologize if this as been discussed before. If she makes the starting lineup, it's highly doubtful she would play in the back row. The most likely scenario is Sun moves to the RS, with Kubik and Davis at OH. Sun and Kubik will be playing six rotations and either Sweet or Davis will come out for a DS.

I think if Davis can bring in practice this week like she did on Saturday she will be seeing a lot of court time.

I think if Davis can bring in practice this week like she did on Saturday she will be seeing a lot of court time. He is not going to sit Kubik or Sun. They are primary passers. So unless Sweet is benched, it's hard to see it happen...
