Who will be the Setter for State? Two incoming setters, McDaniel and Reed, and two freshmen on the roster, Frazier (redshirt) and Sharpton...so, one/two of them??? That's awfully crowded. My guess is McDaniel finds her way on the floor in a 6-2 or 5-1.

Interesting that Rowland would choose to transfer to another program that has Setter ??... leads you to conclude that there were other factors (homesick, role, coaching) in the decision.
Rowland was lined up to be one of the two primary pins along with Shipes next year.

Rowland was lined up to be one of the two primary pins along with Shipes next year. There is a difference between having a new setter due to graduation and having setter questions especially if there is an unexpected transfer. Sharpton was a prepvolleyball HM (or among the 150 to miss being a senior ace) in 2018 - so she could easily be a part of the normal transition to a new setter that would be with Rowland for the next 3 years.

The admissions scandal definitely isn't good news for Wake Forest. The program's just been getting back on its feet and if the allegations are true, they may be starting over yet again.

It's unfortunate, especially for the many people involved with the Wake program who likely have nothing to do with this. Imagine catching both the 30 for 30 thing with the prior coach and this in the course of a 4 year college career.

Boston College.
"The Eagles begin their spring season hosting a tournament on March 30 in Power Gym beginning at 10am, when they will take on Northeastern, Harvard, Holy Cross and Siena over the day. Following the home tournament, they will head to Worcester for a day at Holy Cross (April 13) before participating in a tournament at Harvard (April 14). The Eagles will wrap up the spring season with a match at Brown on April 27. All competitions are open to the public."

So it looks like things are starting to get a little more serious at BC. What was a 20 player roster to start 2018, is now down to 13 as a preliminary 2019 roster is posted.
3 graduated players (Oemcke, Goss, Canulli). 5 no longer listed, Retired?, transfers? (Wall Fr., Dersjant So., Yao So., Costigan Fr., Sacco Jr.). With 1 January enrollment (Torey Baum).
Wall, Sacco, Costigan, DNP in 2018. Yao (2 sets), Dersjant (34 sets).
So Jewel Strawberry is 1 of 3 from the last Campbell class to remain.
The players enrolling in the fall of 2019 that I have found so far: Izzy Clavenna 6' 2'' RS/OH TX Summit VBC Payton Hielscher 6' 1" S IL Adversity VBC Gabby McCaa 6' 4" MH MN Northern Lights VBC Silvia Laneselli 6' 2" OH CA Forza1 VBC
