BC Announces 2019 newcomers It is the anticipated group of 5(Baum, Clavenna, Hielscher, Ianeselli, McCaa). Is McCaa BC's first senior ace ever? Nah, they had Audrey Eichler, Kam McClain, and I think Katty Workman?

Nah, they had Audrey Eichler, Kam McClain, and I think Katty Workman? Workman was fun to watch. BC listed her at 6' 0" which I think is very very generous (5' 10" in 3 pairs of socks maybe?). If she had been a bit taller watch out. Her bio did not mention Senior Ace. I did find in the same time frame Kellie Barnum (2011) and Courtney Castle (2010).

VanDyke is out from Louisville...this will be her second transfer....Martin already left....
Guessing players are seeing less playing time with DBK's high recruits coming in or a shift in culture maybe?

Pitt picks up 2021 TStreet 16s setter Rachel Fairbanks. Comes from a successful club team.

In the spring matches I have watched, Louisville has rarely used both of their DS's at the same time. Hamilton gets cleared in May (Yay!!) and a freshman DS with the potential to compete for the libero spot is coming in. Louisville's blocking skills have improved. And Tori has a lot of motion setting with the middles. Aiko has a HUGE UPSIDE and will impress. Then we add Tillman..... Alexa Hendricks will not play libero at Louisville. No way. Hamilton and stander are both better and Bartlett is coming in for the 2020 season and could definitely snag it as a freshman. Hamilton is set to play libero for next season barring any more injuries.

FSU still has some flaws, but these transfers and incoming class may get them back up to the top tier. I definitely think that the ACC will not be a two horse race between UL and Pitt with these incoming players. It will take time, but FSU should gel nicely. ND has a young core with more experience returning that will be interesting. As does Duke. Will be interesting to see with players returning from injury and a strong incoming class, if UNC can come back during year two of new staff.

bceagles.com/schedule.aspx?schedule=685bceagles.com/roster.aspx?path=wvballBased on what I saw last year, BC's made strides. They aren't what I'd consider a dominating team, but they were able to hold their own and put up much more of a fight. I am surprised they haven't had more success in years past. BC is a very good school and in a great location. Unfortunately for the Eagles, Power Gym is quite small, as BC seems to invest far more in hockey (understandably) and football. At least volleyball games are free admission... Unfortunately for me, I get to deal with all the traffic their sporting events and commencement cause. In all seriousness, I do want to see a few games against the "bigger" ACC foes. I can try and record some matches, but I don't really have the proper equipment to do so. Should the footage not be nauseating to watch and decent enough quality to be able to recognize players from a distance, I can try and post here.

And I promise not to be fussy about quality. ACC teams need some love and support.

The roster is not fully updated yet. Baum is the only freshman listed since she enrolled early. McCaa and the three other freshmen will most likely be added once they enroll in the summer.

Have been looking for a prediction on how Louisville will be this year? They have a couple of new players transfer in that should make a difference. Any thoughts?
