Slagle had 5 service aces! Love seeing these stats for Hughes. She can jump, baby! Still concerned about production out of the middle, though. Especially rough day for Amiya offensively. But impressive 3-1 win for the Hawks. 22-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-15. And go Brie Orr! Love when she is that aggressive. Good team blocking day, it looks like. Courtney B puts up a heckuva block out on the right. Nice day, Hawks!

Hawks are taking on the Cyclones today in Ames. A win over State would always go over well for the Spring in Iowa City! #GoHawks Cannot find a live stream like they had last year for this in Ames but here are live stats: stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=261304 Meehan Hart playing for ISU, but she’s leaving ISU for Colorado? People do that?

Meehan Hart playing for ISU, but she’s leaving ISU for Colorado? People do that? Yep. Tiffany Clark played the full spring schedule for Michigan in 2017 before transferring to Wisconsin.

Meegan’s decision to transfer was posted on PrepVb way back and she recently made social media posts about joining Colorado.

Meegan’s decision to transfer was posted on PrepVb way back and she recently made social media posts about joining Colorado. Many athletes and their coaches are aware of transfers in the off season. Unless the departure is not amicable, it’s normal for the student athlete to finish their duties as both a student and an athlete. When it is announced on the internet has absolutely no impact here. Why are we surprised that a student athlete would continue as a student, but not an athlete, knowing she’ll be leaving at the end of the semester? Should she stop being an athlete? Players who will be graduating in May also play the spring season to make sure the team can form a spring roster, too. Even though they already know they’ll be leaving the program! Crazy.
