I hope you guys are enjoying your holidays. But in this time of happiness, I do want to know if there any updates on the status of Danielle Scott Arruda? As I am sure you all know, the five time USAWNT Olympian (and twice Olympic silver medalist), Danielle Scott Arruda, was stabbed in a brutal attack last month where her sister was tragically killed. How is she recovering? Physically and mentally? While this has been a horrific experience, I am choosing to focus on the positives. Physically I am recovering well, l will have the pins removed from my hands on December 17 and off the walker somewhere there about as well. Spiritually I know Jesus is holding my family and me as we continue to trust in Him. Emotionally some days I hold it together better than others. That man is still out there texting and living life which is unsettling and frustrating. Leads have not led to much and WhatsApp a means to how he is communicating “allegedly” WhatsApp isn’t cooperating fully. The hour he is caught can’t come soon enough. Please continue to pray for us, peace, comfort and that we can get some normalcy back. I will post some stats on Domestic Violence or Intimate Partner Violence. Well, that should at least be a sign of relief for Scott that the murderer is caught. The culprit will face the consequences of his action. Let us all hope justice will be done in this case. |
