oh brother...I like Karch...training and respect for each other is more important that JUST WINNING. The US Olympic team should have their priorities as such ; 1./2. Training/Respect for each other, followed by 3. Just winning - is this what you're saying? GREAT punctuation Yourself, guy: ought to read " colon...not semi-colon". PS: speaking of grammar, punctuation, et cetera: your entire sentence, O ye of 22 posts, sucks.

With Karch converting his OHs to liberos, i can’t think of a better defensive OH then Tom. With the insane amount of talent coming through the nt Karch is clearly doing something wrong. I get it, jump floats are his thing, but there is no reason Hancock shouldn’t be hitting the serve that she led the nation in aces with. His extremely fast tempo has also not given us the edge we thought it would. Hackley made a difference because she was the type we need. We need more physical pins. Larson and hill aren’t physical enough. Foecke and Plummer give promising looks. Right now I think we need a standout middle and a much better lib.

"Play with your friends and hope to do well?" What kind of recreational ball is that? I always wanted to kick the snot out of my opponents, maybe with a slight edge to a competitive game. Of course, they weren't close friends either.

We don't medal in Tokyo without Larson on the floor. The VNL and World Champs pretty much proved that. Homegirl starts on pretty much every team in the world right now.

In my opinion, firing Karch would be dumb.... I don’t necessarily appreciate that Karch kicked Logan Tom (STILL VERY UPSET LOL) and Destinee Hooker out of the gym years ago.... But other than that I think he has done a good job.

I walked into a street sign on the sidewalk at the farmers market recently, bruised my temple.

Too late in the quad, keep Karch through Tokyo then let's try fresh blood if it doesn't work out. I appreciate that Karch is a learner, is willing to try things and change them if it doesn't work out. Remember the libero in middle back, when he said teams don't score enough on tips to make it worth changing defensive positions, and my favorite women aren't effective out of the back row (and then Tandara and Natalia beat us almost exclusively out of the back row). What I don't like is his huge emphasis on systems rather than maximizing the skills of the athletes he has in front of him. Also everyone talks about team dynamics and winning but what about the third dynamic, how interesting we are to watch? I enjoyed watching Lang Ping and Hugh's teams much more. I think our current team is one of the least fun to watch and often route for other teams because of it (Italy and China any one).

Yup, Larson works with every other hitter in combination. Every time they try a Larson-less lineup, it just doesn't flow right.

This was my exact question. Who are we talking about (and this is not a good sign for the roster he is proposing)?
