No Russian teams? Stoyanovsky/Krasilnikov and Semenov/Leshukov are currently within the top 10 teams on the tour No Brazilian teams either. I'd knock Taylor and Jake out, and maybe Thole and Wickler (only 2 real tournaments, which he knocks the Grimalts for) But it's a lot tougher to pick the top 10 now!

There’s been too much shuffling on the Brazilian side. It’s hard to determine at the moment honestly. They can look good on paper but not be the case in real life.

Stoyanovsky/Krasilnikov and Semenov/Leshukov are currently within the top 10 teams on the tour One Russian team was added, but I agree this is homerism of the worst kind, especially putting Jake/Taylor on the list. "I’d expect Gibb and Crabb to be regularly contending for medals." No reason not to expect that other than that Jake/Taylor have been together for two full years and have never won a single medal. Gibb/Crab are 0-17 in winning medals but on the list and have finished 17th or worse roughly a quarter of the time. Samoilov/Smedins have won 2 Four Stars in their last seven events but didn't make the list. Even if those two wins were wipe off the books, they have two more medals than Jake/Taylor in the last year. The Grimalts have won two 3 stars and a 4 star in their last 6 events beating 3 of the top 5 teams on the way but, according to Travis, "two events, no matter how good, is still just two events"

That's all I can say about that, but notice they aren't in the lineup for Xiamen, while lower Russian ranked teams are entered.

Until when can teams change and still have a realistic chance to qualify (=enough tournaments incl some 4 and 5 stars)?

Until when can teams change and still have a realistic chance to qualify (=enough tournaments incl some 4 and 5 stars)? Well, you can have up to 12 finishes count, but I'd guess you'd need at least 8 very good finishes in 4 & 5 stars. I'd say begining-mid July is the latest. that gives you two 5 stars, and three 4 stars and one 3 star this year. And you can also go the Olympic Qualification tournament in Sept.

They should really clear out the partnerships that don’t exist anymore. Within the top 40 teams in Entry points, Brazil has 14 tandems but I’m guessing only a third of them still exist right now.
