To put Minnesota select as high as you have is scary. Lauren clark is gone. Emma Schmidt is a good high school player but not much beyond that. Maybe black ink didn’t realize that Clark has left for penn state already?? Clark isn't on the roster - so she is not included.
Minnesota Select is much different than any of the other teams on this list. They have 19 players that will be playing on the 18-1 and 18-2 teams - which can change during the year? I made the assumption that the 5 players scoring a black ink are most likely to stick on the 18-1 team.
Ashburn is a T50 senior ace who was 1st team UA-AA. I assume that Anna Wolf is very good as a sophomore??? After that - they have 3 players in the SA 126-285 range for next year. The bulk of their score is those top 2 players.
Select beat the snot out of Sunshine this morning (-11, -14) at the NL Qualifier so maybe the ranking makes sense. Not as impressive yesterday but still 2-1.

Looks like I missed a team (I am sure there are others).
The final four teams in the Northern Lights Qualifier (top 3 teams qualify):
Northern Lights (MN) AZ Storm (AZ) Minnesota Select (MN) Iowa PowerPlex (IA)
Iowa PowerPlex has a black ink score of 16.5 that would put them #10 in the nation and the 3rd best team in this tournament. The top 4 teams in black ink are in the final four.
Iowa PowerPlex (Iowa) Devyn Robinson (Wisconsin - 2020) Megan Renner (Purdue) Kenna Sauer (Missouri) Emily Holterhaus (Northern Iowa) Ari Winters (Denver)

Checked their schedule and looks like they are playing in Italy right before Nationals in Dallas. How often do club teams play in Europe? Just thinking of the club expense for this season for this team - my goodness.

And yes, that’s the scenario. It’s why they are attending AAUs.

Legacy Elite had a very tight win today against TK. 2-1 (23-25,27-25,16-14). Seems like the rankings are spot on!
Edit: Legacy 17 Elite also won Rock N Rumble yesterday. That will be an interesting team to watch for next year's 18s club rankings.

FC Elite (Wisconsin) is a team I didn't look up - doing them now they would come in at #14 - this is legit talent on the team.
Madeline Koch (Purdue) Elizabeth Gregorski (Wisconsin) Hannah Vanden Berg (Marquette) Addison Barnes (Loyola-Chicago) Maggie Cartwright (Arkansas) Brooke Mosher (Illinois - 2021)
Depending on how we want evaluate Mosher, this team could be very close to top 10.
Not very many commits on Mizuno M1?

This year their 16-1 and 16-2 teams will also be doing a trip to the Netherlands. These teams are paying $5100-5800 for the season to play.

If this price is all-inclusive (dues, uniforms, tournament entry fees, travel costs) and they have their usual travel schedule AND the Europe trip is included, $6,000 would be a bargain.

Low Multiple tournaments, qualifiers, nationals and overseas.... I believe they have a heavy club schedule. Wonder what or if any additional costs are associated with it? Maybe someone knows
