No surprise! Some say the best hs team ever. Not sure if you can quantify that but I've heard that tossed around as well.

Watched the team play numerous times this season. Have been watching high school volleyball for over 14 years and by far this team was the best. The skills displayed by the starting seniors and the 2 starting juniors was a pleasure to watch. The size of the front line including the 6 rotation players was daunting. Has there ever been a team not to lose a set and only drop 8 sets the entire season while playing many of the top teams in the country?

Fantastic team by a legendary coach. Seemed like the Kentucky HS level was down a little this year, but perhaps that's just cause all the good ones went to Assumption. Going undefeated is so hard though and to not slip up once, just so impressive.

Guess there’s no limit on out of state tournaments? In Arizona, it’s only one. Also, is this a private school?

I wonder if they could take a set off of a decent NCAA D1 team, let's say a Notre Dame or Oregon St.

I wonder if they could take a set off of a decent NCAA D1 team, let's say a Notre Dame or Oregon St. I am from Louisville and have seen assumption play many teams. They aren’t capable of taking sets of those team but lower D1 schools I would say they certainly could. There entire starting lineup is committed D1 and multiple bench players. |
