TStreet announced Kam Bacon’s commitment to LBSU Found this video on YouTube. It appears, from the video, that Kameron has a good arm and is very athletic:

After winning the title in 1998, the Beach was still right there in the mix, with Final Four appearances in 1999 and 2001. The Beach would have won it all in ‘01, but Logan Tom and Nnamani combined for 15 kills per set. Incredible. Haneef had a great night but couldn’t get the ball enough. BG had his butt hurt when Cheryl didn’t win NPOY. He forced most of the balls go to her to prove a point and it blew up in his face. This team was so ego driven that year that when they lost the first set, everything went downhill.

I don't get why The Beach continues to recruit lower division hs players that are "maybe's" when according to the transfer portal there are currently young proven D1 talented players available. Tuaniga coming in is a special player, but she is going to need some help. It's been a long time now since LBSU has been a factor. Recruiting and retaining seems to be a problem. Nothing against Giambi haven't seen her play therefore no opinion this is just an observation in general about the current state of the program. Looking for a reason to frequent the Pyramid again. Jenna Giambi’s team won gold at JOs in the American Division. The nice thing is she was named the MVP of her division and that is not an easy task as a libero. LBSU has very good defenders coming in the next two years.

I'm not sure if the coaching staff is finished recruiting for 2020, but this is already a solid class with Mia Tuaniga, Meauna Booth, Jaylen Jordan, and Giambi already verbally committed. I thought Joy, and her staff, also secured a verbal commit from 6'3 Kameron Bacon? Kam Bacon no longer appears on Rich Kern's list of "New Recruits" for LBSU's 2020 recruiting class.

The TStreet website still lists Kameron as a verbal to LBSU.
Joy is doing a good job on future recruits... just wish she would bring in another setter for next season!

Richkern.com has been off line with some kind of malware glitch for almost a week and a half. The site just got back on line last night. Perhaps Kam Bacon's omission was a glitch. If Aigner-Swesey is not effective this fall, hopefully Eliana Chavira can step in and set for the Beach.
