Snakes and gators in one and quakes and fires in the other. But, yes.

There aren’t enough baskets for the utensils in our dishwasher. We go through more spoons, forks, and kniv s than bowls and plates. I may have to buy an extra utensil basket. They sell those?

As water is such a precious resource should we ban the "courtesy flush"?

Even Hawaii has natural disasters and obscene prices.Speaking of obscene prices...Northern California...the Bay Area to be precise, have insane real estate prices. How do people who study/work/play for Stanford or Berkeley afford living there? Or are they all rich or have their housing expenses paid for?

My basement is currently flooding. Snow melt and rain and only one functioning floor drain.
Fun. The Twin Cities are an absolute mess right now. The sidewalks are sheer ice. The side streets are rutted ice. Roofs are collapsing. The Timberwolves suck.
But the CNT has a Gopher infestation, so that's cool.

I found a couple of rats inside my compost bin. I thought I had that sucker secure. When I initially set it up, I placed two layers of mesh wire on the ground to prevent animals from burrowing a tunnel into the bin, then placed the compost bin on top, and secured the cover with a heavy rock so animals couldn't lift it open. I made sure no animal could get in from the bottom and top! Don't know how they got in.

I have to confess that sometimes, when I'm putting together stuff at home, I would hammer or screw or staple things together only to discover that I've accidentally left something trapped inside. For example, I'd nail and otherwise put the finishing touches to a backyard deck only to discover a box of screws underneath the boards. So, I'd have to remove some boards to retrieve it! LOL!

I have another body to dispose of. There has to be a better way than what I've been doing. Suggestions?

My parents have two freezers and a refrigerator in their garage. I don't know why. I mean, it's just the two of them. They don't eat much. When my kids were younger and we visited my parents (my kids' grandparents), my kids used to think there were dead bodies inside and their grandparents were murderers. There would be a top layer of frozen vegetables but everyone was scared to look underneath.

I don't see the point in freezing them. It's just putting off the disposal issue.
