Anyone know Eric Beranek's plans? Guy qualified with what, 3 different partners? 4 different partners in one year. Query whether that has ever been done. If I run into him, I'll ask what's going on with him. I saw his father a few days ago but didn't ask. I believe he's recovered from a fairly severely sprained ankle.

Explosive athlete, physical player who would team nicely with Field, those two would bury balls.

Saw Dentler/Vander Meer Won the AVP America Wild Card Series. Seems like a newish pairing, wonder if they'll stick together. They have Potential to consistently qualify

Another 1.5 months until Doha 4* and another 2 weeks until we find out who’s going (fingers crossed Dalcena is).

They have Potential to consistently qualify Dentler's one of those guys who's right on cusp of qualifying consistently, good pairing. He had a pretty lousy year last year and also some bad luck in draws that kept him from qualifying but he also took some bad losses to teams you would expect to be his peers or even vulnerable. He's kind of a tweener, big enough and good enough to maybe be a regular qualifier but not big or athletic enough to expect much else. Compared to a guy like Brunsting for example, he seems limited.

Agreed, definitely had a bad year last year but he and VDM looked really good this past weekend, albeit were only playing qualifier level teams

What about Priddy? Who will he be partnering with? Theo Brunner. They already made their debut in The Hague. Got 25th.

not a fan of dentler’s game. seems a lot like marty lorenz I thought he dominated in the two matches I watched from this tournament. He was blocking everything. This pairing seems to have some good chemistry. VDM was also hand setting everything quite well. Weird that he has never brought them out before.

Dentler has quality size, good on over-on-2 plays, just needs right partner & draw.

Watched more of Dentler/VDM vs Travis/Myles, at one point Dent blocked like 4 straight balls, getting up higher with deeper knee bend, put ton of balls over on 2 for easy points. Based on what I read about AVP America, teams are encouraged to stay together as they only garner team points not individual points. If this is the case, Dent/VDM will be teamed up for majority of events into Huntington.
