While wrong, really seems crazy he could go to prison for this but that guy down the street who’s been accused of way worse has been free forever... if that’s true, of course.

Just crazy the guy down the street was fortunate enough the girls didn't come forward in time then lied his butt off and intimidated people for decades until larry nassar got exposed. I have said a million times had this gone down in a day and age of social media and modern internet he would be rotting in prison, that is why I said on the men's board how could mike even think he would ever get away with this in today's climate. - especially surrounding volleyball in the area.

Could have been an all timer of a practical joke where a coworker set all of this up in order to run him through the ringer.

I do not know of any but I could come up with one scenario. If his defense lawyer, or himself, or his family has not said this though, it becomes very doubtful. 1. Complaints of theft of personal possessions from locker room. 2. Sets up camera pointed at lockers for the next time this happens. 3. Someone sees cameras and complains to police. 4. Police come in, seize computer where camera is automatically recording and storing tapes. 5. Police find tapes where kids are changing and in camera view. = child porn. 6. Perp tells police, "but I have never looked at them, it is just there to refer back to if someone reports theft". 7. Police (and everyone else) say "yeah right". That would be a case of someone meaning well but not thinking through all the other issues this "solution" would cause. We had a case like this where there was constant theft of personal belongings and almost 100 people having access to the room. People DEMANDED we put cameras in, actually called us negligent for not having cameras. It was brought before superiors and we all discussed the potential downsides (privacy, etc.). We put in lockers in a public space, told all the players to put their valuables in those lockers and only to leave clothing etc in main locker room. Still had issues.... Have no idea of the person, nor wtf is going on with this situation. ONLY responding to the post above. Not a locker room, single-use washroom. And he didn’t own the space. He just rented office space there.

I can't think of any practical jokes I ever considered pulling that resulted in felony charges. I can think of a few, but they don't involve locker rooms, restrooms, or minors.

Just a regular bathroom? So he risked everything for a birds eye view of someone using the commode?
In jail he will have a much better view of people using the commode than the one that he is getting busted for.

I'm a little worried that there could even be more bad than what is already found and being reported. If he was doing creepy things like this before Hitmen, he used to work at a prison/juvenile center of some sort. I don't recall many details, but I think he was some sort of counselor there.

There might be more to come but if they suspected that, or if the porn on his phone suggested that, wouldn't they have done more than just let him out and tell him to stay away from kids? Or, you would expect that they would have asked anyone knowing more to come forward. I would think if they thought he was in the child porn on the phone or the person that took the porn, that they would not have let him out until they found the kids?

If memory serves, I believe he used to coach with Sports Performance before he left to start Hitmen.

Sorry to remind you all of this, but you might want to delay hanging or castration until after the trial. Are you aware of any cases where 1) a bathroom camera leading back to the accused’s computer where they found images of patrons using the bathroom and 2) child pornography on the accused’s phone all turned out to be a big misunderstanding? I hate to say it, but that reads to me like he’s been proven guilty. I’ll gladly eat my words if that’s proven otherwise. No, can't say that I have. Of course, I probably don't follow these sorts of cases as much as you do. My point stands, and it has nothing to do with a "big misunderstanding:" Wait for the trial before skewering this guy.

He turned himself in too? So not only was he too dumb to delete the CP from his phone before driving himself to the police station, but he probably brought it with him as well.
