I do not think that BYU will run the table this season. I hope BYU loses a cuple of match's. Some adversity will suit them come play off time.

usfdons.com/news/2019/7/9/womens-volleyball-vb-garcia-plays-with-mexico-senior-national-team.aspxSan Francisco has an interesting team this year with some decent height and volleyball experience. Coach Lavrisha is doing a nice job in making them competitive again. Good article on Kathya Garcia. SAN FRANCISCO — University of San Francisco volleyball returning senior Kathya Garcia will once again play for her home country's national team this summer, suiting up for the Mexico senior national team starting this month and playing in multiple international tournaments. Garcia began her tour with the Mexican national team last week at the Pan-American Cup in Trujillo and Chiclayo, Peru. Mexico is part of the 11-team field competing against other top-30 world powers such as the United States, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Puerto Rico and Canada. Garcia played in both of Mexico's first two matches of the tournament over the July 4th holiday weekend, recording five kills in her team's 3-0 victory over Trinidad & Tobago, and another five kills and two digs in Mexico's 3-0 setback versus the United States. Garcia has been playing for the Mexico senior national team since 2015. She was informed in December that she was again selected to play at her country's highest level of volleyball and represent her nation's flag this summer. 2019 Mexico Women's Senior National Team"It's really, really important just because the first time I represented Mexico, they told us, 'Of all the women that are in the country, you're the people who represent the colors,'" said Garcia. "For me, it's an honor to play for my country and do what I love." Should Garcia perform well enough this month at the 18th Pan-American Cup, she could be selected to join Mexico at the Intercontinental Olympic Qualification Tournament on Aug. 2-4 in Kaliningrad, Russia. There, Mexico will face host Russia, South Korea and Canada in an attempt to qualify for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. "It's special, but it's a big challenge," said Garcia, "because you constantly need to keep growing. You can't get lazy or stop. You always need to go for more. It's something that my dad told me. I have to keep pushing myself to be better." Garcia completed her first season with the Dons last fall. Though she missed six matches due to injury, she was still USF's leading attacker with a team-high 249 kills (2.77 per set). She was also second on the team with 257 digs while recording 29 blocks and 25 service aces. Her years of experience playing international volleyball with her country's senior team has helped her game on The Hilltop, and also made those around her better. "The (USF) coaches have a lot of knowledge to help me keep getting better, and of course my teammates play a big part in helping me get better and teaching me what they know," said Garcia. "The (West Coast Conference) is also at an elite level, so that's challenging me to get better and continue growing."

Poster just missed the last couple of letters of the url: usdtoreros.com/news/2019/7/25/womens-volleyball-roxie-on-the-rise.aspxUSD has had lackluster production on the pins since their hammer MB-turned-OH, Lisa Kramer graduated. Wiblin hit just .136 as a freshman but improved to .200 as a sophomore. Fuller had a couple good games last season, but mainly struggled on the outside, and got edged out by freshman Katie Lukes (who brought some heat and hit .217) as the season went on. They need to get more terminal production from their OH's after losing some outstanding middles, (which was their go-to offense): Addie Picha, along with Kaity Edwards. There have been sightings of an apparently healthy Thana Fayad to compete at the pins, along with Wiblin and Lukes. Hopefully the OH position will be stronger this season than last.

Thanks for catching and fixing! Will fix my post also. It will be interesting to see how they use freshman Grace Frohling. Being a setter/outside she brings some versatility and am interested to see if she is able to contribute right away.

USD gets thrown into the fire early with matches against Hawaii, Washington, Nebraska, Arkansas and USC in the first few weeks. The pins should be better this year with Lukes ending her freshman extremely strong and getting Fayed back

If Fayed is truly healthy then the combination of her and Wiblin will provide USD with very good terminators.

Yes I do unless Lukes has gotten stronger over the summer. I also thinks Fayed's injuries significantly set back USD's offense. Hoping we can see her for a full season this year.

Having 3 strong pins allows one of them to possibly move to opposite and provide some much needed depth. I think you underestimate Lukes, she hit .266 in conference, not bad for a freshman and the highest hitting percentage of the outsides.

LMU’s new uniforms this season are atrocious. They look like Ole Miss.
LMU’s colors are not red and baby blue. They are navy and maroon, unless something has changed!?

The LMU logo looks different on ig profiles and what not The logo looks more modernized/simple and the website now shows kind of a medium blue instead of navy blue. Where did you see the uniforms, trojansc?

Where did you see the uniforms, trojansc? On IG. It was a story on the LMU volleyball page. I don't know if it's still there.
