I think it is safe to say that Kelli will never broadcast any type of volleyball ever again. No one will hire her. No offense to her but at least something positive has come out of this. Nominee for best post in the history of VT.

But I find interesting that some people are afraid to go to the police right after to talk with like 1 or 2 people in private in a safe place.....but years later they are not afraid to talk in a press conference in front of the whole world?!!!!!!!!!... It's pretty obvious why in this case -- it would have killed her career as a sports reporter if she had gone public at the time. Now, a few years later, she has given up her career as a sports reporter (in part due to the stress from this incident, if you believe her), and so she really doesn't have to worry about losing what is already gone. Meanwhile she sees him just sailing along in his choice of career looking like a golden boy, and I can understand her finally snapping and saying, "this is bullsh*t; he's not going to destroy my career and then get off scot-free with his own".

I think we should be very careful discussing this and be conscious of our personal prejudices. I had a ton of sympathy for Luke over the way the Lakers treated him and I hate Kelli as a media personality. But neither of those things gives me any idea of who is telling the truth here. I think it is safe to say that Kelli will never broadcast any type of volleyball ever again. No one will hire her. I dont see why not. You think the Big Ten network cares about this? NBA teams sure, LA sports probably, but she should be able to get another job broadcasting volleyball (assuming they dont actually watch a tape of her first) I think a lot of people are missing how much unwelcome flirting attractive women working in sports have to put up with. Those asking things like how could she have not shut him down before etc. don't realize that for a woman in a sports environment there is so much you have to let go or else you get a reputation as a bitch and have to quit your job. Having to refuse amorous overtures from men you have to see every day in a work context without ostracizing them is a very hard (and grossly unfair) line that female sports journalists constantly have to walk.

Damn you all suck as human beings. She’s not a good broadcaster, we know that. She is still a person and doesn’t deserve these horrible comments. She’s horrible to other people! That’s why she’s not well liked! She’s fake, aside from being good at opportunities that have come her way.

- Knows nothing about beach volleyball - Never even played beach - Uses made up diseases to gather Instagram followers to push @$$%*!* supplements - Ruins the audio aspect of AVP prime - Product of a society that hires attractive women for certain jobs even when they're incompetent Her problem was a sense of entitlement and a lack of self awareness. She was given huge breaks but never did her home work and was never prepared. I concur!

Could be 1 of 2 sides to this. He's a monster scumbag if all this is true. She is a monster scumbag if none of this is true. Or there could be something in the middle. I don't doubt he came on to her in a hotel room. But there is a difference between being a scumbag and being a criminal.

She seems like a me me me person. linkReally grasping at straws with this one. But if she were really all about the money, wouldn’t she have stuck around for her share of $27 million?

www.cnn.com/2019/12/05/sport/luke-walton-kelli-tennant-lawsuit-dropped/index.htmlFormer sports reporter Kelli Tennant has dropped a lawsuit that accused NBA coach Luke Walton of the Sacramento Kings of sexual assault. Tennant's attorneys filed a request that the lawsuit be dismissed in Superior Court in Los Angeles County on Tuesday, according to court documents obtained by CNN. The request asked that the lawsuit be dismissed with prejudice, meaning the accusations cannot be brought against Walton again. Additional information about why the lawsuit was dropped or if any settlement was involved was not included in the court documents. CNN has reached out to attorneys for Tennant and Walton for comment.

By it being dismissed with prejudice does that mean that Walton paid some money to make this all go away, or did Kelli realize she was blowing money on something she was never going to win? Also with this being dismissed in prejudice, and Kelli made this up or exaggerated, can Walton counter sue her for defamation of character or damages?

Look at the comments from Walton and his attorney. At a minimum an agreement was reached between the parties otherwise he would be loudly and publicly proclaiming his innocence and her perfidy since she cant sue him again.
