I'm just curious, why does everyone hate her so much?? I dislike Kelli because she makes one of my primary hobbies, following pro beach, less enjoyable. I dislike her more because her incompetence seems to come from laziness, i.e. not doing research, not watching games outside of broadcasts etc. I also think her condemnation of "Western medicine" and promotion of snake oil cures is irresponsible and stupid.

Damn you all suck as human beings. She’s not a good broadcaster, we know that. She is still a person and doesn’t deserve these horrible comments. As part of her job she did a performance meant to entertain (I guess). People criticized that performance and her previous public work (truthfully as you concede). Why doesn't she "deserve" these comments? Who has commented on anything but her performance? I guess you could say one person asserted she got her job primarily based on her appearance, but that seems like a pretty reasonable conclusion.

Anyone is welcome to challenge my assertion with facts. Also I just watched the conclusion of her AVP IG takeover. It ended with plugs for her Instagram page, her podcast, and her quack doctor. There was about as much beach volleyball on her segment as you can expect on C-SPAN.

- Knows nothing about beach volleyball - Never even played beach - Uses made up diseases to gather Instagram followers to push @$$%*!* supplements - Ruins the audio aspect of AVP prime - Product of a society that hires attractive women for certain jobs even when they're incompetent This post deserves 10 stars.

I think one of the most damning things she could have done for herself is when she continuously teased and made fun of Cam for having a binder of what I am guessing was player profiles, background research, or other information that would be super helpful being on air for hours at a time, something I am sure we all agree is not easy. She treats the broadcast like she is back in her high school club days while displaying a similar level of maturity. I too felt bad at first that I didn't care for her because my judgment had been manipulated by reading this board's feelings on her until I did some research on her professional background and the Laker/Dodger boards were filled with the same type of comments. She just is not cut out for this or perhaps she needs to find another sport, but to continue having her on the AVP broadcast would be a mistake unless she changes her perception of the job. The IG takeover was really sad, and her hocking of snake oil was just inappropriate and can't help but feel it could be detrimental to paying advertisers that expect their product to be pushed via the company they advertise with rather than some "as seen on tv" stuff that she is using to supplement her income.

You have to remember though, this is what a lot of people have resorted to now a days on most message boards. Their only enjoyment is putting others down. Can’t really believe there was a thread started for this. Just my two cents!!

She was given huge breaks but never did her home work and was never prepared.

www.thisistheplatform.com/blogs/6things-about-kellitennantI have many health issues. I had pneumonia in high school and then mono for 8 months at 17. Then I was forced to retire from playing volleyball at 19 while at USC, after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I was bedridden, depressed, in excruciating pain from head to toe, couldn’t see straight, had a numb and dead left leg that dragged behind me, and misdiagnosed for 6 months before the Rheumatologist finally came to a decision. For the past 13 years, I have been in a painful and often dark health battle. Countless doctors, tests, diets, and multiple bouts of anxiety and depression has really been a challenge. There have been days, weeks and months where my body has completely shut down and I haven’t left the house. Just getting out of bed was too much. In July of 2017, I found my Functional Medicine doctor, Dr. Lekkos, and he completely changed my life. After our first conversation together and a myriad of tests, he confirmed what I felt all along. I don’t have Fibromyalgia. It is an umbrella diagnosis doctors give people, usually because they aren’t doing the right tests and can’t find an answer so it’s a way to give people something tangible with a name. I have Epstein Barr Virus, leaky gut, not enough good bacteria, SIBO, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, the MTHFR genetic mutation and food allergies. Since I starting treating for these actual issues, everything is different. Just over a year later, and I turned a HUGE corner. I am beginning to feel like a normal person who doesn’t live in chronic pain and doesn’t have to nap every day and sleep 12 hours each night. MIRACLE. I think cutting this young woman a little slack would be kind.

A lot of people have problems. It’s not an excuse to being a coporate shill for alternative medicine sham treatments. It also doesn’t entitle you to a cush job in the spotlight because you also happen to be hot.

I think cutting this young woman a little slack would be kind. I normally wouldn't comment beyond her professional performance which is completely fair game for criticism, but she is advancing quackery and snake oil cures. She also previously advanced different cures for a disease she now concedes she never had. She of course never went back and said, "hey fibromyalgia sufferers, you know how I publicly said this cured me and it could cure you, never mind" or even had the various media where she said so taken down. Now she is using her public persona to advance different pseudo-science I empathize with her and the suffering I am sure she goes through due to her illnesses, whatever they may actually be. I also empathize with parents of severely autistic kids (and the kids themselves) but that doesn't make it right for those parents to blame autism on vaccinations and it doesn't make it right for Kelli to hold herself out as someone capable of giving medical advice an in doing so counseling people with real and severe conditions to look to quacks for help.

It’s not an excuse to being a coporate shill for alternative medicine sham treatments. It is a SHAM that you do not have the correct spelling of her name in the thread title. Kelli Tennant
