Byu took a timeout and after the TO they could still challenge the point before the TO?

Byu took a timeout and after the TO they could still challenge the point before the TO? Same thing again, Gardini injured and a minute or 2 later they challenge. I thought challenges had to be within a certain time after the call.

BYU had vastly improved their passing and defense. Night and day. Having a fixed libero has helped them gel a little.

Great match, BYU! Best match of the year so far for them.

I canβt figure BYU out. Some nights they look awful and tonight they looked pretty good. I thought the officiating was bad all night with both teams using all 3 of their challenges early on. In my opinion the turning point in the match was 18-18(?) second set, BYU makes a pancake dig that was clearly down, gets the point, then follows it with a lucky tape trickle ace.

That, and Stanley's save, Gardini's free ball, and Miki's block.
