Louisville can be a dangerous team this season if their ball control holds up for them... Hopefully Hamilton can return to pre-injury form. That’ll help a lot. This team is getting a lot of talent in all positions.

Will be interesting to see who grabs the other OH spot.

They'll be good this year, but will be a handful starting in 2020. DBK is one more recruiting class (and transfer season) away from having her foundation set.

So what is the projected lineup? This team has a ton of depth at MB and a couple solid setter options. Does Tillman start? I think (without looking) they will have the highest black ink in conference - should be a pretty tight conference race with Pitt.

Tillman and Scott in middle. McHenry at one outside. Wouldnt be surprised to get a transfer OH that doesn't have to play back row. Aiko at right side with DS coming in for backrow sometimes. Libero is not a lock for Hamilton. She hasn't been playing for a year and some of her freshman year as well. Assumption incoming freshman DS, along with Mia will compete. Ball control will be much stronger. McHenry has been the target last year and held her own under pressure. Add to the fact that there is an abundance of DSs this year compared to last and it is encouraging. Personally think Stevenson will easily pass Scott. I also agree Dilfer will have an have an edge. They will need McHenry to be really efficient this year for them. I agree Hamilton is not a lock due to the fact that she’s been out for a year. The times she didn’t play her freshman year were due to injury and was just making it back towards the end of season. Hendricks coming in is very solid and I expect her to contribute, but not sure how much.

Hendricks hasn’t really impressed too much. Barring more injuries, Hamilton will take it. With van dyke leaving, Aiko may now be on the right, she was supposed to hit left with McHenry. They are waiting for nena mbonu who can hit all 3 spots, but is a bit small to hit right and middle, maybe she can play left with McHenry? Tillman and Stevenson will most likely start as middles, roe and Scott could push for a spot on the right side, I like the idea of a 3 middle offense with roe, Tillman, and Stevenson. Like Minnesota did with the tapps and Lohman. Had van dyke stayed, a 6-2ncouldve been possible but now I don’t see it. Dilfer or shield will set a 5-1, I’m betting dilfer.

I am not a big Louisville follower but I haven’t heard much on Stivrins. What’s the story with her? With her having such a high performing sister who is a Husker I thought she’d get some shine. Will she see any action?

Will she see any action? It doesn’t look like she will from what I’ve heard. McHenry is a lock for 6 rotations and if not Aiko it will be chausse or even nena on the left. Stivrins mya be able to get a spot if she improves consistently and keeps working, but I don’t think it’s looking like it will happen

Dilfer made the top collegiate national team at the USA tryouts. She might be one of the few !!

Based on DBK’s Twitter, looks like Louisville just got another commit.
