Look at LSU, taking down Cal Poly and Florida State today. Good day for Mike the Tiger.
Also, playing Jerger at the 5 spot...seriously, Brooke?

#7 LSU head coach Russell Brock: "It’s hard not to be satisfied with a weekend with this wins (...). Claire Coppola and Kristen Nuss really made another big statement this weekend. I’m looking forward to when we are clicking on at all five pairs. That’s when we know that we will really be a team that can make some noise." - lsusports.net

Very small adjustments from pre-season poll. Some seem accurate (LSU/FSU), other inaccurate (Stanford/St. Mary's).
Still too early to tell for sure, but based on what has happened so far I stand by most of my pre-season predictions:
OVER-RANKED
#7 Cal Poly - They did beat SCarolina, who may also be over-ranked. They will need to beat somebody from West region to get into the bid race.
#9 FIU - Ok, I missed big on this. It appears Rita has reloaded. I didn't think they would compete after losing half their starters. I was wrong.
#12 Stanford - They lost to St. Mary's. Guess other coaches want to keep "ranked wins" on their schedule, so voted for them. They should do ok against average competition but maybe #19 is more accurate.
#16 Georgia State - Really struggled versus Stetson and FIU. Flights 2 and 4 especially. Unless something changes they will soon fall out of top 20
#14 Arizona - Nearly lost to Boise State. With their schedule it may take a while before they drop from top 20.
UNDER-RANKED
#13 LMU - Good win versus GCU. The next 3 weeks will tell us if they are a bid contender.
#19 Grand Canyon - Slow start. They are going to have to start catching up this weekend, but real tests are in a month for At-Large or West bid.
#15 Stetson - Started moving up. Next weekend will determine if they are At-Large caliber, or just fighting for East bid #3.

#7 Cal Poly - They did beat SCarolina, who may also be over-ranked. They will need to beat somebody from West region to get into the bid race. Based on won-lose only SCarolina may "look" over-ranked but if you look at the scores vs. LSU and FSU they were right there on both for the taking and they just couldn't get a big win.
