Now that’s the new standard." volleyballmag.com/sandcast-051519"It would have been unbelievable, when they were pre-teens, watching Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May Treanor, to conceive of a time when they’d not only be competing at that level, but pushing them. Now, after taking Walsh Jennings and Brooke Sweat to three in Mexico in October, that’s the new standard." ----- FIVB Itapema Four Star, May 14-19 #25 Megan McNamara/Nicole McNamara (Canada) def. #8 Sanne Keizer/Madelein Meppelink (Netherlands) 21-14, 13-21, 15-13 (!) #25 Megan McNamara/Nicole McNamara (Canada) def. #9 Sandra Ittlinger/Chantal Laboureur (Germany) 21-18, 24-22 (!)

They do lose less starters than UCLA and USC although I don't think they would bring in as highly touted recruits. I think I would put in FSU over Cal Poly, but Cal Poly having TVW next season will definitely put them in contention for the top 5.

I put FSU at 6. FSU does have Anderson coming in and she will most likely dominate at any flight. I still like Cal Pily higher finish with TVW. CP needs her heathy.

this is so way out of season, but...
Savvy Simo is really killing it indoor as OH for UCLA. I did not expect that or know she had those skills.
I think Simo has a chance this upcoming year to be on UCLA #1, presumably with Van Winkle.

In the 2017 NCAA tournament, she played against Cal Poly and had a great match with 8 kills hitting over 0.500. Then in the very next match against Florida, she had 1 kill hittng in the negative. Many of the UCLA fans wanted Sealy to try out Simo again last year. She was only used as a DS

Name is spelled Jacqualine Heard she played beach in high school but she is from the midwest so I doubt she will be used to the ncaa level. Very very solid receive skills as well as defense which I believe will translate nicely to the beach. The fact that she is going to play ncaa beach makes me believe she wants to play beach pro
