Just noticed the Polish 1 team got eliminated by a non-international Brazilian team. Bruno/Evandro looked interesting, hard to say more when they won that easily but if the next round goes to seed, then they play Alison/Andre after that which should be a lot of fun

I agree with Beach, that team needs a split to get over the top

Nope, Alison and Andre end at quarterfinals.

Crazy to think Ricardo has a legitimate shot at making another Olympics

Crazy to think Ricardo has a legitimate shot at making another Olympics I would put them as the 4th at best Brazilian team.

I mostly agree, but I don’t trust Alison and Andre to have many high finishes. Ricardo and Alvaro might be better than them anyways. I definitely don’t think Pedro and Vitor Felipe are going.

I definitely don’t think Pedro and Vitor Felipe are going. yeah, my statement isn't with the greatest of confidence as I agree there is little separating a few of the teams. Ricardo and Alvaro got smoked at The hague by Qualifer teams. My issue is I still think the Saymon and Guto are better than them. I really don't understand why Saymon isn't the 2nd best big for Brazil. He and Alvaro dominated Ft. Lauderdale in 2017 and it wasn't close. Bruno/Evanadro Alison/Loyola Saymon/Guto Then Ricardo/Alvaro & Pedro/Victor

Totally agree on Saymon, and Guto might be the best defender

Totally agree on Saymon, and Guto might be the best defender Saymon looked very impressive in Hawaii last year despite being hobbled by a bad knee. Would like to see him healthy and more consistent.

I definitely don’t think Pedro and Vitor Felipe are going. Any chance Ricardo has essentially depends on Andre/Allison both staying together and continuing to fail. Either one, with a different partner, is a better big than Ricardo at this point and Andre seems like the second best Brazilian big overall, with Alison third, although I haven't seen Saymon nearly as much as many here so maybe he belongs in there somewhere. I have a hard time accepting that Saymon is better than Andre though. Andre is both younger and has enjoyed much more recent success, and more success overall. Where are the Brazilian defenders is what I wonder about. It seems like most of the top Brazilians are blockers and the best defender is still Bruno? For all the hype around Guto, when I saw him play with Ricardo, who was borderline retired a few seasons ago, Guto was getting 75%+ of the serves. Very reminiscent of when the top 3 US players were Gibb, Lambo, and Phil
