so is this the top team? Or how did they divide these teams? Usually, athletes are asked which events they can compete in if selected. For example, quarter system athletes would be in school through mid-June, so would not elect this event. Some teams have summer foreign travel, etc, so hard to get all the top players on one individual roster. The varied rosters will allow USA volleyball to track many athletes and get data on them for the future. Seeing some of the JNT eligible players selected for this roster, I'm curious if they will be unavailable in July for the World Championships. I don't believe I've seen any athletes do two USA programs in the same summer, but I may be mistaken.

1/3 of this team play for a university in Utah, +Heather Olmstead is their coach. Today's geography lesson: And their universities are less than an hour apart! I literally don't recognize anything on that map except Salt Lake City and Provo. If you had asked me where Moab was I might've said Africa. I also have zero interest in living in a place where bees are apparently plentiful.

In 2017 Elliott took a Collegiate National Team to Thailand that was 1/3 his own Texas players (Bedart-Ghani, Johnson, Ogbogu and White) I thought that was a bit odd at the time...

This Japan teams looks better than the wug team. Why? Quade is better than all outsides on the wug, Taylor Morgan is just as good if not better, same with cc McGraw. And I also think mica Allison is better than dilfer and brown imo. The wug team does have better opposites obviously. The Japan team might not be better, I’m not sure which tema is. I think this would be a great scrimmage to watch tho !!

Monsanto and other chemical companies will rid this country of bees and other beneficial insects pretty soon. Hang tight.

Yeah...I have thought it to be a bit suspicious when a lot of players are from the coach's team or state in recent years. Utah stuck out, and then Washington has a number of players too, and the UW coach is also coaching and was part of the selection committee. Hmmmm...

“For many of them it will be their first time representing the USA, getting a first look at international volleyball.” Very curious how they represent the USA or get an International look when they are only participating in an inter-squad exhibition match in CA? What am I missing here?

What am I missing here? A couple of players are from Arkansas and Mississippi. Aren't those basically other countries? Hence, international looks at other players. ;-) Just kidding...

What am I missing here? They will probably use the international ball & substitution rules.
