Ok, it’s not going out on a limb... I predict a 4-1 win over Stetson on Friday 7am PT ESPNU. LSU-Pepp, too close to call. I say sweep over Stetson. From what I remember they stop at 3.
I'm going Pepp over LSU, just because Pepp wants to avenge an early season loss but who really wants to face USC in the second?
I'm still surprised Pepp is over LSU in the bracket. not that it matters for the 1st round of the loser's bracket unless UCLA falls in the first round

USC recruiting news: At AVP Huntington Beach, the Nourse twins beat Allie Wheeler and Kimberly Smith, but lost to Brittney Howard and Kelly Reeves. Then, in the contenders bracket, the twins lost to Meg Kraft and Delaynie Maple, two future Trojans from the 2020 class. Both pairs playing extremely well for high schoolers!
Out of the 32 players in the round of 16, 9 were past or future Trojans (naturally, no present Trojans)... Ross, Hughes, Claes, Martin, Urango, Strange, Fonoimoana, Nourse, Nourse. With Wheeler, Kraft and Maple losing in the first round. Ross and Hughes are on opposite sides of the winners semis. Claes, Martin, Fonoimoana, Urango, Kraft and Maple still alive for now in the Contenders bracket.

I believe Sammy and Haley dropped out of this event. Thanks! Looks like a pairing of Dennis/Kujan made it out of qualifiers but didn’t play day 2. Nourse twins struggled against Coppola/Nuss but beat LSU’s third pair Rodriguez/Rasnick-Pope.

Wow, kinda spooky. Tribute? The numbers aren’t taken if you look at the roster. Might just be a summer practice assignment. Maybe a joke by one of the coaches? It was nice to see the Nourse twins as the 12th highest US pair for Olympic qualifying. Didn’t know that a few 1 stars would get them on the list.
