I realize a lot of posters on here don't like her TV volleyball personality, but she has done a lot for women's collegiate volleyball and basketball as a player, coach, and TV analyst. This probably means her duties for ESPN/LHN/SECN in volleyball and basketball broadcasting are over while she is a head coach.

Yep, there are many who have strong opinions on Ms. Fortner's announcing, myself included. BUT: as a Pac12 guy with P-!2 Network, she surely beats Ann Schatz: UGH.

I've always liked her work on TV for both volleyball and basketball.

I've always liked her work on TV for both volleyball and basketball. I agree. Is refreshing to hear an announcer that's not out of the cookie cutter mold that dominates broadcasts to day. Enjoyed the enthusiasm that Nell brought to a broadcast.

THANK GOD! I hope Paul Sunderland gets a worthy color commentator. I will not miss her on Texas broadcasts, except for the laughs I got at her ridiculousness and hyperbole.
