Never been a huge Casey fan, but after watching them perform well at Huntington, do you think they have a good chance to come out of pool play? I think so. That team they are playing normally is a middle of the road fivb that has been hot lately. If that team stays hot Casey loses if they come back to normal Casey wins. I think slick got the worst draw. But after they lose they will have a good draw to still get out

2T and Hyden have a good shot, the other 3 teams have tough 1st rounds. As they should. I think Pool G is a good pool. 2T v Mol/Sorum looks like the most interesting pool game from a US perspective. If it happens that is.

Id say if Grimalts fall back to Earth Chasey has a good shot, but would be underdogs. They will have a big size advantage though and with their power game may match up well with Chile to some extent

Slick/Allen up 10-3 against Alison/Alvaro. Never thought I’ll be typing that.

Wow what happened?? 2T looks solid. They suddenly couldn't side out any more. Had a couple of bad sets and therefore no pressure in attack and when the set was good Seidl blocked. It was really crazy, especially since Brazil took a timeout when it was still 20-16. Even that didn't help.

Slick/Allen fall 12-15 at the end. The first set was a dream but reality hit.
Meanwhile Hyden/Doherty are getting smashed by the two Canadian Sams. 7-14 at the moment.

Wow Theo and Reid win set 1 29-27. The Austrians were pleading the last ball was in but the ref stuck with his original call
