Remember what you said about jinxing?? 😂😂 Ok ok... I’ll change it to “I predict”? Or I’ll just delete it 😂 Looks like a pretty straightforward draw. Haven't seen Colombia before but they have been struggling in 1 star events. Brit has a pretty easy draw to get in as well. Great time to get a quali WC

I would say expectations were high for Carly, just like Priddy, Chase and Lee. She has been putting in the work though. Playing some smaller Cali events without Ho.

You used to see it sometimes with guys like the Bomgrens, Hudson etc.. somewhat early in the season/tournaments when they would hit a few shots that werent "AVP level" shots but went down 100% of the time in VA beach or wherever. Some high level practice games might have more benefit

Pretty easy win for Kerri/Brooke, 21-10, 21-18. Brooke had some trouble passing in set two to make it interesting, but otherwise they played well.

But I think Carly is still learning how to prepare for beach tournaments, and can work on specifics under a bit of pressure outside of practices. In practice you can have better form, vs. when not in such a controlled situation, old habits can show back up. I like working through things in game situations. Players like you mention, have the correct skills, but get lazy verse low competition and create bad habits where Carly is still trying to cultivate those good habits.

Who do you see Carly going with long term after Britt? If there is anything as long term.

Who do you see Carly going with long term after Britt? If there is anything as long term. If she keeps progressing, she could turn into a very nice big. Especially if she can stay on the right side. Maybe someone like K. Cook? they've played together before, same age. She'd be right in her prime for 2024.

I’m not JB but no way she makes anther run. She would be 43 or so. I think at 36 she’s not at good as she was a few years back.
