I saw this earlier today. Brazilian volleyball looks lost. Brazil seem to be encountering difficulties in terms of transition to new players on the team. The veterans are retiring and the younger player aren't meeting the expectations of Ze Roberto. For some reason, the new generation of players are not cutting it. I wonder why.

I was just rewatching the 2008 Gold medal match and man, was Thaisa almost unrecognizable without the uh... enhancements.
I’ve really enjoyed watching her compete over the years. Her latest injury was devastating to watch. Great career and awesome accomplishments!

Best wishes to the twins in retirement. They were fun to watch. Were they? Truly, their rise in the volleyball world was meteoric.

She also had a nose job. But that seems to have happened post 2012.

She also had a nose job. But that seems to have happened post 2012. An aggressive one. That Dr did the world wonders.

I saw this earlier today. Brazilian volleyball looks lost. It's lost only if you're not looking for it on Instagram :-)

Their youth had big shoes to fill and high expectations to follow. Amanda and Rosamaria are average outside hitters. Drussyla is the only one that has potential. Ana Beatriz and Carol aren't the next Fabiana/Thaisa duo. They need to start developing their youth asap.
