what an incredible journey
Hawaii faces their ultimate challenge - an adversary with a record so historically illustrious that refuses to die
Beach faces their ultimate challenge - an adversary seemingly more dominant than themselves, backed by a crowd thirsty to win beyond imagination
at stake for Hawaii? this team is so great, and there's only one thing left for them to prove to themselves
at stake for the Beach? this Beach core has won every title and award there is, and after all that, they still can find something left to prove to themselves - overcoming a challenge that is beyond any title
What are the odds that two of the greatest MVB teams of all time would meet in the greatest venue in the same season playing for essentionally NOTHING but bragging rights? ....bagging rights that will last for two weeks at that, lol!!
the coaches should really just rest all the starters, if you think about it, of course if they did that there would be a riot.
so it's just gonna be a pick-up game for two teams that respect the hell out of each other and would love to beat the living crap out of each other.
Gage Worsley is the most emotional libero you'll ever see. have to love the flex.
TJ is so emotional the guy can't hide it. have to love he lets it all hang out.
3rd straight year they've met for the conference tourney title
6 or 7 or 8 1st team All-Americans will be on the court at the same time
the Big West Volleyball Tournament will OUTDRAW the Big West Basketball tournament - that's how crazy this is
hyperbole beyond hyperbole!!
bring it on!!

BeachbytheBay I hope you're getting to see the match live. It's going to be an epic night, whatever the result. TV doesn't come close to capturing what a full house in the Stan is like for a Beach vs. Hawai'i battle.

Does this match dictate the #1 seed into the NCAA tournament? Or is the #1 seed going to Long Beach because 1) they swept the regular season series and 2) NCAA is at Long Beach?
Who would have thought that any runner-up from any conference would get a higher seed in the NCAA mens vball tournament over the MPSF champs.

Beach a slightly different approach - tan, ready, and rested. The Beach needs to get more tan if they want to have a chance tonight. The tanner the better.
