huh? he's the only one? smh he's good, but that statement is absurd Stats wise it’s not, he leads the nation in blocking still at 1.42 which is way above amado, gyimah (both under a block a set) and Mitchem at 1.11. Gasman hitting has taken a dive though in the last two weeks (although it is still respectable .465) Amado, Gyimah and Mitchem are all hitting above .500. This is why I say that he's stat is balanced compared to the others. Sure he's hitting went a little low the last 2 weeks but that figure is still respectable given the number of attacks that he gets from the setter.

I have a really hard time believing that the committee will not select a MB for the First Team. Mine: J. Worsley Parapunov Van Tilburg DeFalco Ensing Tuaniga Amado Wieczorek Wyett Ma'a Gasman G. Worsley Gyimah Yoshimoto Mitchem Huhmann Chavers Idk Idk Idk They need a libero on first team also. Oh yeah. Bye Ma'a.

Gage should be #1 in votes because there is 1 spot for a libero and no one is going to beat him.
I can see no middles in the first team but probably will be one and between Gasman & Gmiyah, Between UH and LB they will likely have 6-7 of the 10 spots taken with no middles which makes it hard to add another as a middle.
When 2 teams have 3+ dominant players on them it makes the other team members look really good too because that is what great players do, make their teammates look good. I think the coaches will balance that a little so there will be a lot of people comparing Wyett to SVT and crying buckets if SVT is left off and Wyett included. Just one possible example, not saying that SVT will be left off but if they want to save room for more than 3 players on the remaining 22 teams in Div 1, someone is going to be left off. If Gasman was on Northridge, would he be putting up same numbers and getting the same love? Gmiyah had to play with the passing of UCLA all year and different setters and in different positions. Not making a case one way or another, just giving points of view.

IMO, libero shouldnt make it this year. no one stood out beyond belief throughout the course of the season. yes gage was fantastic in some plays, but his overall serve reception wasnt better than boehle. so i dont think there should be one over the other. and honestly, molina outplayed him that last match.
boehle was the best player on his team, and i believe he was the only libero to be the best player on a top 10 team. so if its not boehle, than no gage.
not in any order
OH: Defalco OH: stign OH: Wieczorek OH: Wyett
M: Mitchem M: amado M: narup M: gasman
Opp: Rado Opp: Ensing
S: Worsley

Here is my prediction for Hawaii:
1st Team AA: Stijn Van Tilburg Joe Worsley Rado Parapunov Pat Gasman
2nd Team AA: Gage Worsley Colton Cowell
HM: Dalton Solbrig
I bet Charlie gets NCOY just because last year his team lost 8x and they didnt get to the NCAA's. Well this year not only did they lose just twice to the defending champs, but they won the BWC tournament and got the #1 seed.
My prediction also is that NPOY goes to Joe or Stijn. But I'm leaning towards Joe.
