I'm genuinely speechless. why? Name one player with a wider skill set and with a bigger overall impact to his team. He’s a very versatile player but that does not mean he put up all american stats THIS season.

fun to read predictions and compare to results.
thermometer of sorts measuring member's knowledge of the leagues, players and connection to reality.

The top 9 vote getters, along with 11th most, were the 10 guys that made the 1st Team. Only difference in VolleyTalk and AVCA top 10 was Gasman and Kofi. Two guys that play the same position and both had great years. VolleyTalk has a little more Hawaiian voters than the AVCA I’m guessing which probably explains the difference in that last spot. But like discussed earlier in this thread, there was an obvious 8 or 9 guys that were clearly 1st Team AAs and it’s nice seeing the committee put out possibly a perfect 1st Team selection. And to see VolleyTalk members are actually as smart as we tend to think we are.

I almost selected Chavers but at the ending part of the season he withered away just a little bit and I think that was used against him in the selection process potentially. Just like how I think when Colton hit under .200 for like 6 out of the last 9 games to end the season they possibly used that against him as well. Of course Idk what they used to determine the list but I'm just sharing my opinion on what might have been discussed. Without Colton's play, we dont win that BWC championship against LBSU. imo

Based on the season he had 2nd team is the correct spot for him and a great accomplishment.

Amazing!
