Stubhub had tix - very few for $175 to $250 for semis
and 250 to $750 for the finals
all gone, except the $750 finals tix only ones
who'd have ever thought a MVB tournament would be a scalpers dream !

Dang. And I thought the package tickets for BW tournament for $40 was too expensive for a men’s volleyball.

And I thought the package tickets for BW tournament for $40 was too expensive for a men’s volleyball. lol, yeah - when you think about what people pay for Superbowls and NBA & Pro Baseball.....then compare the quality of competition that these last couple weeks have had, it's amazing. I thought about getting 4 tickets instead of 2 and should have. I knew this was coming even before the season started, cause only an idiot (or feeble athletic director) would think otherwise. Still so pissed that the LB AD just bungled a great opportunity to show off the Pyramid with an couple extra thousand fans. LB alum/fans might have bought up to 6000 tickets alone for this. there's still gonna be probably up to a thousand Hawaii fans there I would bet, so it'll be super festive....just that it could have been mind-boggling....but that's what happens when you have people in charge who make decisions based on not wanting to make a mistake and don't have the balls to try to do something special

No damn way in Hell.

If I was available on those dates I would probably buy tickets for those prices.

Maybe if Long Beach put in more seating, tickets would not be as expensive.

Maybe if Long Beach put in more seating, tickets would not be as expensive. Or if the ncaa selected a decent sized arena instead of a small one.

It’s always not a guarantee that arenas will always sell out. It depends on who are playing. It just happened that UH is playing this year and they have a huge following. If it was a Lewis vs Stanford championship match, would you think they need a SSC-size arena?

In most years, the Pyramid would be big enough, and it's a fine tournament venue. But, this year, it's been apparent for quite awhile that more seating was needed.

Yes, but understandably not too many schools have an arena like the Stan Sheriff Center. You just don't typically see too many college sports drawing in up to 10,000 people. Like another poster said, if not for both Hawaii and LB in contention, the seating probably wouldn't have been a problem.

Is there a dislike option on here. 750 is insane. Don't think anyone is getting those seats.

semi-final tix on the market for $250
finals for #350 (GA), and the $750 have come down to $575
so the going rate floor is still above $200, amazing I doubt if this has ever happened for a MVB championship.
of course if LB (or Hawaii) loses is the semis, the prices will go down

Plenty of opportunity for Hawaii fans to buy them. It was a hot commodity item when they opened it up for sell. With only about 5k tix available, I assure you 1k Hawaii fans were not able to secure tix. I'm pretty confident in that.

It seems StubHub is using the seating map for Long Beach State basketball, which includes General Admission. So, the seats on the endline can't be listed with their actual location.
