Is there a site that catalogs the 2020 D3 preview? Or do you have to go to each schools site to see an article that displays their preseason preview? Nobody care about D3 like that There used to be d3vb.org/men, but it was getting to be too much/cost prohibitive to run. I believe he tried asking for donations, but didn’t raise enough. Sad, he did great work. Standings, stories and all the works.

The younger brother Eli Gabriel Irizarry Pares transferred from Springfield and is now playing for Grand View, a top notch NAIA school. He was Springfield's starting setter last year. They will have to rely on Matt Lilley, who was a serving specialist for them last year or Jeremy DeRoche who was the Men's Junior National Team technical coordinator in 2018 and served as the DataVolley coordinator for Springfield's Men's Volleyball team since 2018, but is now listed as a setter on the roster.

To inform what I heard- he was cut. And the replacement setter was supposed to be Agim from Greece but is no longer listed on 2020 roster

Personally I do not see them being able to overcome their lack of ball control. Defense, serve receive, and now setting will all be worse than last year. Unless charlie can coach his roster to play differently than they currently do this Springfield team is going to have a different identity than years past and I still hold my bold prediction of them not making the tournament with even more confidence now.

If Agim had been on campus for Spring I would have had them as favorite for National Title. I really think this opens the field up, maybe a slight edge to NP with a four year starting stud in Matt Grace as well as national championship pedigree

Division III Preseason All-American Team Setter: Matt Grace, SUNY New Paltz Opposite: David Lehman, Stevens Opposite: Elijah Medlock, Benedictine Opposite: Nate Miller, Lancaster Bible Outside attacker: Jack Bittker, Stevens Outside attacker: Brennan Brandow, Springfield Outside attacker: Ethan Klosak, Dominican Outside attacker: Bryn Lipton, Endicott Outside attacker: Nahuel Recabarren, Southern Virginia Outside attacker: Matt Slivinski, Carthage Outside attacker: Jeremy Torres, Elms Middle attacker: Austin Braas, Arcadia Middle attacker: Neil Ferraro, NYU Middle attacker: Nathan Reynolds, Stevenson Libero: Danny Martens, MSOE Division III Preseason All-American Honorable Mentions Opposite: Jarret Anderson, Springfield Opposite: Aaron Carrk, SUNY New Paltz Outside attacker: Josh Bigford, St. John Fisher Middle attacker: Kevin Duffy, Juniata Middle attacker: Nick O’Malley, SUNY New Paltz Libero: Johjan Mussa Robles, Springfield SOURCE: www.offtheblockblog.com/2019/12/off-the-block-announces-division-iii-preseason-all-american-team/Thoughts: Pretty solid list. I think there are a couple others worth mentioning that could be on the list, such as Ryan Byrne (Stevens), Donovan Dey (Endicott), Jovanny Torres (Elms), Paul Curaro (SJLI), Caden O'Loughlin (Wells), Robert Nolan (New Paltz). Perhaps Evan Lindley (NYU) and Jason Manley (Arcadia) could also be mentioned if hitting percentages rise this year. Not sure how Johjan Mussa Robles was credited as an All-American last year, he was getting subbed out for sloppy serve receive. It is tough to justify liberos correctly for All-American talk because of the fact that serve receive isn't a factor, simply digs per set. Nolan is probably the best serve receiver in the nation but the style of play for Radu Petrus and New Paltz doesn't bring many opportunities for digs. Overall, I like the list. I'm simply naming a few more honorable mentions but don't disagree too much with what we were given.

Not saying these guys were snubbed necessarily, but here are some Midwest guys I think are worth keeping an eye on as well:
OH Nick Malak - Benedictine S Joe Lock - Benedictine OH/OPP James Althoff - Concordia WI MH Easton Kays - IIT OH Ben Pung - MSOE OH Jason Szara - Augustana MH Eric Winter - Carthage MH Parker Connolly - Carthage L Sam Kharasch - North Central MH Justin Curtis - North Central OH Noah Marcinkowski - Adrian S Kyler Van Rossum O'Connell - Fontbonne L Zach Rothstein - Fontbonne MH Braden Woolsey - Fontbonne OH/OPP Jason Hascher - Mount St Joseph S Rey Sanchez - Mount St Joseph OPP Mark Bruns - Mount Union OH/MH Trent Robinson - Olivet
Also figure you gotta include Thomas Kovanic in there, but I still haven't seen anything confirming that he's at Aurora for sure. Also don't know what position they'll be playing him at. Plenty of other guys and freshman you could include, but these are the guys I've seen in person that stick out to me.

Lots of names popped up once or twice but it took 5 votes to make the Honorable Mentions list

Was an All-American last year by the AVCA and could have an even stronger season this year. With pretty much everyone out for Kean, SVU will be favored in the CVC. Juniata will most likely start the season as the runner-up with Flor transferring over from Kean to take over for Peterson.
