Seems like a pretty reputable school. A $333 million dollar endownment for a school with 900 students is insane... $55 k per year and ALL MALE is going to be an interesting sell, especially because you have to live in the backwoods of Indiana. Interesting to see what conference they choose.

Are the rich getting richer or could it shake some things up towards the top? I would classify as rich getting rich and some middle-class program getting a bump Can we get some hints?

Waiting for the ink to dry. Don't want to end up with my foot in my mouth Understandable, don't want to ruin your prestigious reputation. You also want to make sure that the school accepts their academic record. The announcements will come soon enough because some one will brag or boast.

The announcements will come soon enough because some one will brag or boast. Of course. However, with a May 1st application deadline at most schools (exceptions are always made for athletes), I would figure most of those transferring have their answers. Guess it is just waiting on the school or player to announce it because nobody wants to say something, be wrong, and feel the wrath of the D3 VolleyTalk community.

Congratulations to Ian Capp for being named the Off The Block D3 Stter of the Year. Much deserved Matt Grace was the runner up with "Player of the Year" Matt Reinsel finishing third in his own position. These votes are a lot more indicative of the way things actually are.

How exciting, maybe the voting committee for these pointless awards will keep awarding players for not making the tournament. 2-2 so far, can't wait to see who wins next.

Wonder why this committee is not only looking at players who made the tournament. I mean look at all the teams that made the tournament and lost first round, surely any top individual would not have let that happen so anyone who lost first round is out. Honestly, if you did not make it to Kean for the finals you should not be in the conversation either, so gotta take all those players out. Any great individual player would have carried his team to the finals if they made it this far, and any top tier positional player would have won the championship and not let the team down by losing. Thus, the only deserving players of these rewards are the New Paltz starters. Preposterous that that they are currently 0-2.

Thus, the only deserving players of these rewards are the New Paltz starters. Preposterous that that they are currently 0-2. My comment relates to club ball, but the logic is the same. When my son played 18U, he was on one of the top rated teams going into nationals. During the season he averaged 8 kills per set, at nationals the average increased to 10. But, his team failed to make it out of their poll the first day. Your logic of awarding excellence is used when nationals make their top played selection, only the teams who make the gold bracket final day name players for the award. Therefore, dominate players like my son are overlooked. I don't agree that one player can carry a team. Having TJ DeFalco on your team does not guarantee success if the other 5 suck.
