Kudos to Cathy George for hanging out with that crusty lot!

So... who’s the 1 you can’t. #theshade What's his face at Rutgers. Honestly took me a while to remember who he was. Is he considered a full member of the Big Ten fraternity? Or like a red headed step child? Or a drain on the profits? Does he have to sit in a smaller table off to the side?

I’m actually not sure I can either... I’m going to guess without looking, is it Hughes? You should know, they beat you twice last year!

Wow I've always known there are way more men coaching than women, but it's very depressing seeing it in a picture like that haha

I'd love to hear what the level of passive-aggressiveness was.

Assuming all these guys have female top assistants (?) How is the "heir apparent" list looking, esp. for those successful top 8 programs ? Will this pic be more female in years ?

Iowa, Illinois and RU probably have the most diverse coaching staffs. diverse = not white male Shymansky, Tamas and Werneke are awfully white and male. Of course. I was referring to their entire coaching staff (incl assistants and associates).

Of course. I was referring to their entire coaching staff (incl assistants and associates). I know you were. I'm not being entirely fair, but balancing a staff with assistants and associates reminds me of a defense contractor I worked for in the distant past that balanced their staff of all white male engineers by hiring minority women to clean at night. Yes, the books balanced, but something was inherently wrong with that picture. Well, speaking only for Illinois, the coaching staff includes two males (one white, one not) and two females (one white, one not). They appear to be very competent and very compatible. Oh, and they took a team that didn't even make the playoffs the year before this coaching staff arrived, to the Sweet Sixteen the next year, and the Final Four the year after that. Help us out here, what exactly is "inherently wrong with that picture"?

Does anyone know why these meetings took place in New York? Seems a like a strange location for a Big Ten meeting.

I bet half the time was talking about which 2023 and 2024 recruits Nebraska and Penn State don't want in the greater Big 10 region so the rest of the programs don't feel like they are wasting their time recruiting them.
