You even went so far as to state with certainty that "everyone agrees" that the AVP stinks - not sure I have ever read that from anyone else on here, and I have certainly never heard it from folks who actually attend the events in person. Its fun watching you try to backtrack and try to make yourself seem reasonable!`
Who is backtracking? Although if I had said that a tiny qualifier who has never scored 18 on a good team was better than an all time great, and then that great took the no. 1 team to 15-12 in the third, I would certainly backtrack.
As to never having heard anyone else say the AVP product stinks, that was a puzzler. Many here criticize the AVP regularly and harshly. Then I thought, maybe he meant the specific word "stink" but even there, here is a thread entitled "Amazon still stinking" started by another poster and populated by people other than myself talking about how much the AVP product stinks.
volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/74131/amazon-stinking
A few quotes for you from that thread,
"It's inconceivable how bad this is and how Sun apparently allows it" (Attends AVPs)
"Also you’re just wrong. They have a rating system. And it got all 1s and 2s and then they disabled it. Soooo no. Their viewer numbers aren’t falsely inflating their idea of their performance."
Here is one from a different thread. (You may not have seen it since it was offered in response to you)
"If you don't utilize prime for buying things, I would not subscribe just for the volleyball coverage. As many have stated, the coverage is subpar" ((Attends AVPs)
From a third
"This is a review of an extremely disappointing product, not delivering what volleyball fans wanted,"
As to this weekend, of course the quality of play on the women's side sucked. It was basically a CBVA final four
