If you want to compare the talent in the 90’s I believe the BW would smoke the WAC. Those were the hay days for the Big West with LBSU, UCSB and Pacific being some of the best in the nation. You can only compare today’s teams and talent to each other.

Also, Hawaii was in the Big West for some of the decade. Complete tally of results, minimum of 2nd round, below. 1990: UOP RU, LB E8, Hawaii & UCSB S16 1991: LB RU, Hawaii E8, UOP & UCSB S16 1992: LB FF, UOP E8, UCSB S16 1993: LB National Champion, UOP S16, Hawaii E8, UCSB 2nd round 1994: LB E8, Hawaii & UOP S16, UCSB 2nd round 1995: Hawaii E8; UOP, UCSB & LB 2nd round 1996: LB & UOP-S16 1997: LB FF, UCSB E8, UOP 2nd round 1998: LB National Champion, UCSB & UOP-S16 1999: UOP FF, UCSB E8

I am tired of waiting for Fullerton's schedule. I know they start in a tournament in Chicago. Do any of you know which school(s) might be holding a tournament in that area? I think next season is the year CSUF leapfrogs over UCR. With the coach’s firing and the Highlanders annual mass exodus taking place (5 of 6 freshmen have left the program) and their opposite also quit the team. Things aren’t looking good in Riverside.

Fullerton's setting coach of last year, Junel J. and the #1 assistant, Naseri T. are no longer at Fullerton. Naseri is at UCI. I am not aware of Junel's status at a new school. She was from Baltimore, maybe she went back home.
Fullerton's new setting coach is Nicole Polster. I've met her, a very nice person.
I asked Ashley who the new assistant would be. Fullerton has someone but Ashley would not even tell me if the person is a man or a woman. The hiring process has to be completed before the new coach will be announced.

You can also use "width" instead of "height". Okay sorry everyone for all the technical mumbo-jumbo. Ha! I LOVE this movie. It's one of my all-time favorites. I can watch Rade all day long. He was such a great villain in this movie (I love him more as Boris the bullet tho)

Can anyone tally a list of the teams’ nonconference matches?

Is there a Link to the firing of the UCR or CSUF's HC? I’m not privy to Ashley’s job status, UCR job vacancy is fresh, no links yet. Are you positive about that? She is still taking part in team activities as of very recently. Noticed they added Andy Hein for the upcoming season, he is a solid addition to the coaching staff, real knowledgable coach. The Highlanders are adding 10 new players for this upcoming season, 5 outsides, 2 opposites, 2 middles, 1 libero with four being transfers. A solid group of power players which will make them competitive.

You can simply email the coach and find out for sure.

Both the CSUF and UCR made assistant coach changes but both head coaches are returning. Hopefully these changes are the start of some upward movement in RPI rankings.

Nice to see the upward half of the conference beef up their schedules but the conference needs to start pulling off some more upsets to make the upgrades worthwhile.
Next year will probably be similar to last season with Cal Poly and Hawaii clearly above the middle teams. The conference needs these middle teams to close the gap and start earning a RPI closer to 50 than 200. I see LBSU and UCSB both being improved but UCI and UCD slipping back a bit.
