I think it's pretty clear now that Dany is gonna die. Either that or she kills off the rest of the Stark and rule as the Mad Queen. That would suit the cynical and grim tone of GOT.

*channels Ruffda* they're all fictional characters, so who cares?!? No, you've missed the point. I care about these fictional characters. Or the story anyhow. I just don't put a lot of stock in people telling me they know what the characters were thinking or what they did off screen.

I was not surprised one bit by Dany's action.

Truth is, the GOT fanbase is not unified in demanding a single thing. Yeah there is petititon out there to remake season 8 by angry fans. But are those fans in agreement in exactly what they want in a remake? I don't think so. Some want this. Some want that. And frankly some of their ideas are pretty awful. So what are you left with?

The Bran is evil or really the Night King crowd has been around for a while. From a practical stand-point, it's just too complicated a plot twist to iron out in one final episode. The better explanation is that the writers have streamlined and glossed over the subtleties of the plot in order to be done with this. Bron, the Night King and the White Walkers, and just about every other interesting or creative plot line have been discarded. SAD!

We already know that Bran doesn't actually "see everything". He can only see things he looks at, just like everyone else. For instance, he never looked at R+L's wedding, so he didn't know about it until Sam told him. THEN he looked at it and saw it. It's reasonable to think that he just never looked for Euron's ships, or that if he did, he spotted them too late to warn anyone.
Besides, that whole ambush was silly. It was a contrivance by the writers to push Dani into a really bad position. Because it was already being done by writer fiat, the writers aren't going to then undo it by having Bran see it and warn them.

Where was Ellaria imprisoned? In the "black dungeons", down where no light can get to except for artificial light. I believe it is very near where Jamie and Cersei died, so it's almost certainly buried.

Hmmm. I see a scenario where Yara, Meera and Ellaria show up and sing a few tunes.
Not to mention Zombie Hodor.

One not listed: The return of Khal Drogo. A suitable, apocalyptic, exit for Dani.

One not listed: The return of Khal Drogo. A suitable, apocalyptic, exit for Dani. Dany saw him in a vision with their son beyond the gates of the wall, and her visions turn true.
