You should drop to minus 5 stars for that stupidity. Lol okay I decided to spend 5 seconds on google and I've found the list for you avp.bracketpal.com/signup/entries/245Please put a modicum of effort in your posts next time please. We like to maintain standards here at volleytalk and frankly speaking, posts like these bring them down. Edit: Oh, also I want to say that if you have any questions about the actual process of searching for something on google, please ask.

Something interesting to keep in mind. The $20K AVPNext Gold tournament is the same weekend as NYC AVP. The winners also get MD into MB. There are 3 of these in June: June 8-9 Denver, CO June 15-16 Virginia Beach, VA June 29-30 Dallas, TX avp.com/avp-next/schedule/#GrtVWfGPgucqeS01.99

I understand MB conflicts with FIVB but that's still a lot of teams getting in.

So, 8 total. MB should be a 32 Main draw. 16 Auto + 8 From Next + 8 from Q.

If they arent going to use them for legitimate qualifiers who are investing their time and money into the AVP, at least leave the spots open for 2 more pods of teams to fight through. I understand growing the sport and using a tournament like Manhattan beach to give AVPNext tournament winners too but doing this every tournament, and using 2 spots in a Gold Series Event like NYC which already has a small 16 team draw is getting ridiculous. I guess well see but if the 2 WC spots for NYC are given to 2 teams that rarely play AVP and won some small time regional AVPNext tournament, that's a very poor choice.

WC should be given to teams that should qualify on their own or injured players returning, etc, not lame winners from regional tourneys.

I much prefer this over accumulating of points at really small AVP America events. I don't think it will take the top Q teams, because even losing in the play in game is a 17th, better points than a 13th in Austin. Which could still bump them into the MD at MB. But, someone like Honor and Webber, Camacho, Miles, who'd still have to play the Q at MB, they'd be smart to go to one of these.

They could qualify for NYC. Last I heard you weren't even able to register for this one yet but who knows.

Chance to win money and get a berth into Manhattan? Not sure how this is stupid. He may even sign up for both... Just play Colorado if he fails to qualify in NYC

Eh not so sure about that, can someone more knowledgeable do the math for the points/money total for qualifying and at least going 2 and out compared to winning the Denver event and the points/money that come with it? Edit: saw hustle's post right after I posted, agreed he probably is making the better choice staying home and not having to fly when he will almost be guaranteed a win.
